Once-Relevant News Outlet Misreports Trump's 'I Don't Care About You' Joke. He Predicted It Would Happen.

Anyone who knows anything about former President Donald Trump and his relationship with the "fake news" media knows how much he loves to jab them, and best of all, to their faces during his rallies.

In this case, Trump made a clear joke, predicted the lapdog media would misreport it, and predictably, they did exactly that. Once again, Trump: 1, sock-puppet media: 0.

First, here's Trump's joke:

Do you feel the breeze? I don't want anybody going on me. We need every voter. I don't care about you. I just want your vote. I don't care.

Could it be any clearer that Trump was joking?

No, it couldn't be clearer.

As the crowd cheered, Trump added:

See now, the press will take that, and they'll say, "He said a horrible thing."

And just like that, on cue, at least one left-"leaning" news outlet did exactly what Trump predicted.

Former-relevant weekly news magazine Newsweek — now a pathetic online version of its former self — beclowned itself with a ridiculous article about Trump's joke, titled "Donald Trump Jokes to Las Vegas Rally Attendees: 'I Don't Care About You'".

Amid high temperatures at Donald Trump's campaign rally in Las Vegas on Sunday, the former president made a quip about the heat affecting his attendees by stating that he needed their votes, adding, "I don't care about you."

However, temperatures began to rise with a forecast of over 100 degrees during the event. At his rally, Trump spoke about the heat affecting his attendees as he made a joke about needing their votes.

"By the way, isn't the breeze nice. Do you feel the breeze? I don't want anybody going on me. We need every voter. I don't care about you. I just want your vote. I don't care." His supporters laughed as he then said, "See now, the press will take that, and they'll say, 'He said a horrible thing.'"

Can Media Ever Regain Credibility?

In an obvious effort to push a "Trump wasn't joking" narrative, the no-longer-relevant outlet included left-wing reaction to the former president's joke on social media, including social media "clown" Harry Sisson.

Either our clueless pal Harry didn't watch video of Trump's obvious joke, or he's hopeless hack. (Pick "b.")

In addtion, Newsweek emphasized:

Democratic Pennsylvania state Representative Malcolm Kenyatta simply wrote: "He's finally telling the truth."

Reiterating Kenyatta's remarks, progressive political commentator Luke Beasley posted to X, "He finally said the truth."

How ironic that partisan hacks like this mock Donald Trump about truth, when serial-lying Joe Biden lies whenever his lips are moving, and they go crickets.

How amusing. How Democrat.
