The headline above could've been written by our friends over at the satire site, The Babylon Bee. But, unfortunately, it's an all-too-true heads-up about the latest idiotic policy of Team Biden — brought to us by none other than the serial-lying head of the Department of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas.
Biden's bumbling border chief is now ordering Customs and Border Protection agents not to use “incorrect pronouns” when they encounter illegal aliens as they stream across the Southern Border. Classic Biden administration, isn't it?
As millions of illegals continue to flow into the country, including more than 1.7 million gotaways — not to mention the sobering reality of CBP encounters over the last year with 169 people on FBI terror watch lists — the people charged with protecting our borders are more concerned about "misgendering" illegals than with keeping them the hell out of this country.
Too ridiculous to be true? (See: "Team Biden.")
As tweeted by the Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project:
We just obtained CBP documents directing personnel to only use woke language when encountering individuals invading the United States.
Priorities — Democrat style.
🚨Biden Directs Border Patrol to use Illegal Aliens' Preferred Pronouns

Mayorkas's directive orders agents to ignore obvious biological differences between sexes, and to instead focus on an illegals' "preferred gender" identity.
“If a longer dialogue [with a migrant] is occurring, it may be appropriate to ask the individual their preferred pronoun.
For example, state “I would like to be respectful — what name and pronoun would you like me to use when addressing you”?
Avoid asking ‘What is your sex?” unless operationally necessary.”
DO NOT:Use “he, him, she, her” pronouns until you have more information about, or provided by, the individual.”
In addition, the directive orders agents "not to refer to being LGBTQI+ as 'choice' or 'lifestyle.'"
Reassuring, isn't it, that your government has your best interests, and those of your loved ones, in mind? Just kidding, of course — let's revisit the aforementioned terrorist watch lists for a minute.
As I reported in late October, Customs and Border Protection agents not only nabbed the aforementioned 169 would-be illegals over the last 12 months; but the number of encounters also exceeded the last six fiscal years combined.
The encounters between ports of entry are eclipsed by those who are encountered at the ports themselves. Overall, there were 564 encounters at ports, just slightly higher than [in] fiscal year 2019, when there were 538.
The watch list, now officially called the Terrorist Screening Dataset, is the U.S. database that contains information on terrorist identities and includes not only known or suspected terrorists but also affiliates of watch-listed individuals.

Even the CBP admitted that errorist-related encounters have reached a "very uncommon" level.
Encounters of watchlisted individuals at our borders are very uncommon, underscoring the critical work CBP Agents and Officers carry out every day on the front lines. DHS works tirelessly to secure our borders through a combination of highly trained personnel, ground and aerial monitoring systems, and robust intelligence and information-sharing networks.
But, hey — first things, first. What good is an agency charged with protecting our borders if it "misgenders" people illegally crossing those borders?
