As I’ve suggested in the past, I’d be flabbergasted if MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace is a card-carrying member of Mensa. Then again, it’s gotta be tough trudging through life with a permanent chip on one’s shoulder.

In today’s case in point, the communications director for George W. Bush’s 2004 re-election campaign turned MSNBC left-wing loon is really worried about the integrity of U.S. elections, gang. Any guesses?

In fact, the host of MSNBC’s Deadline: White House is so worried, she says the time has come to ask foreign countries to oversee U.S. elections. No, really. During a recent segment of her ridiculous show, Wallace condemned foreign interference in U.S. elections out of one side of her mouth, while calling for foreign countries to administer our elections out of the other.

Even Democrat Rep. Jim Himes (CT) told Wallace he’s opposed to the radical idea now, but did say he could be open to it at some point in the future. Nonetheless, Wallace insisted American elections should be “monitored,” as if the greatest county in history is little more than a destabilized, war-torn country.

I don’t want to get off-topic but if you read through the papers this weekend, the threats to our elections in — what, two and a half weeks — are so pervasive and they’re dire and they include violence.

I mean, do you think it’s time to ask for friends and allies to come over and help us monitor our elections? We used to do that in other burgeoning and threatened democracies.

Note: Zero evidence to support any of the above charges. In other words, typical Nicolle Wallace drivel.

As I suggested, instead of outright rejecting the outrageous idea, Himes said he’s “not there yet,” suggesting he could be open to it at some point. Was Himes humoring Wallace’s craziness, or did he realize the political repercussions he might face in the midterms if he agreed with her? Dunno.

But I do know that the Democrat Party under Joe Biden and his far-left puppetmasters —along with unhinged Nancy Pelosi  —is capable of “anything” in the name of destroying America as we know it.

“And I know why you’re asking what you’re asking and you’re not wrong,” Himes said, in agreement with Wallace that Republicans are the problem. He then suggested, also without evidence, that there are places in America where armed observers intimidate voters like the U.S. is a “third-world country”:

I mean, the kind of intimidation that is threatened around polling places. I mean, you’ve seen the pictures of the guys with assault weapons near boxes. That stuff is intimidating. And again, that used to be sort of the province of – I hate to use the term, but “third world countries” that didn’t care about democracy.

“But no, look, this is something for us to work out, ourselves,” he told Wallace.

The more Himes talked, the more off the rails he became, arguing that Republicans should be treated as a foreign threat — like Russia under Vladimir Putin, or Xi Jinping’s Communist China:

At some point, the United States is going to need to collectively decide that not only are we going to oppose Russians and Chinese and North Koreans, and Iranians messing around with our elections, we are not going to allow the Republican Party to do it either.

And Wallace’s response? That of a contented cricket.

The Bottom Line

The salient question is whether unhinged Democrats — wait, that’s redundant — actually believe the garbage they spew, or if they spew it knowing full well it’s a crock of crap, doing so primarily for the consumption of brainwashed rank-and-file Democrat voters.

I used to believe the latter, but now?

Useful idiots like Nicolle Wallace and her ilk buy the crap they peddle like it’s going out of style. Speaking of going out of style, blowing out the Democrats in the midterms, and recapturing the White House in 2024, would be a yuuge step toward taking back America — like “what’s his name” pledges to do.
