I can’t believe it but I have to admit it. When I first saw this report I was mildly shocked. As we well know, given the level of depravity and steadily-declining immoral conduct on regular display by the Democrat Party and its various supported groups and causes, being shocked by the left is steadily becoming more and more unlikely. We’ve all said it, a proverbial million times: “Nothing these people do shocks me, anymore.”
Yeah, well, this did — if only mildly. Worse, it angered the hell out of me.
A second-grade public school lesson in Greenwich, Connecticut, included a video graphically detailing sexual abuse — that showed a cartoon of a fully erect penis — as reported by the Greenwich Free Press on Wednesday. The students — who would be aged 7 or 8 — were shown the cartoon “Alfred Jr. & Shadow: A Short Story About Being Scared” during a virtual class on “social and emotional learning.”
(A quick trip to YouTube proved unsuccessful; the video has been removed.)

As described by the New York Post, the nearly 10-minute film, often reserved for therapy sessions, shows two cartoon owls talking about terrifying experiences for kids, including “stuff that’s very difficult to talk about.”
The description of the video says, “All children are ‘normalscared,’ but what do children who are ’embarrassedscared’ or ‘painfulscared’ need?” Welp, “thankfully,” these geniuses came up with the perfect “what do do” answer:
The video suddenly cuts to an image of the silhouetted man with an erect penis standing over a sad-looking child.
Aaand, just in case the young kids weren’t confused, uncomfortable, and perhaps frightened, enough, the voice-over explains that “some children have experienced an adult touching or putting their penis in the child’s private parts or mouth,” saying they’re “terrified that this will happen again.”
Yes, this is insane. I wonder what the over/under is on children walking away from that video with more questions than answers, and a troubling newfound fear in something awful that will likely never come close to happening to them?
Besides, who THE HELL put government schools in charge of teaching our children about “social and emotional” learning” Social studies, yes. “Social and emotional learning?” OH HELL NO. Particularly when the geniuses of public education — in all of their elitist condescending glory — believe the best way to do so is with a cartoon of a man with an exposed erection lording over a little girl. What the hell is wrong with you people?
Says. It. All.
But no worries. They still have Dr Seuss banned. https://t.co/r0wxRkk1i6

Conservative Newsmax TV host Carl Higbie was one of the angry parents of students shown the video who was totally outraged.
“In my hometown, in my daughters [sic] age group class of second grade, they showed an animated video today of a man with an ERECTION standing over a child!!!!!”
Once the initial mild shock had worn off, I said to myself, “Of course they showed a cartoon of a man with an erect penis to 7- and 8-year-olds. I can only imagine what would have been my response had I been Carl Higbie.

Higbie says he will not rest until the teachers involved are fired.
Greenwich schools superintendent Toni Jones has still not fired Ms Goodwin or Ms Hanzlik, who showed SECOND grade students an animated video with a man with an erection standing over a child

And then the drill we’ve seen play out over and over again after a teacher or school gets caught with its “progressive” pants down and does something over-the-top inappropriate that leads to outrage. Greenwich Schools Superintendent Dr. Toni Jones sent an email to many parents on Monday, suggesting it was likely meant for a private therapy session for children who have experienced trauma, the report said. (Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.)
“The content at this point in the video was not appropriate for our [Greenwich Public Schools] second-grade classrooms,” Jones wrote.
Ya think, Ms. Superintendent?
A cartoon French skunk — Pepé Le Pew was created in the image of French actor Maurice Chevalier, quite the bon vivant lady’s man of his time — is unacceptable. A cartoon with an image of a man with an erect penis menacingly standing over a “sad,” no-doubt frightened, little girl? Good to go. In the name “social and emotional learning,” of course.
