The GOP has its sights set on impeaching President Joe Biden if they take back the majority in the House of Representatives. Many GOP members are calling it a top priority, following the botched Afghanistan withdrawal that left 13 American heroes dead, the southern border crisis, and the overseas business dealings of Hunter Biden, while the “big guy,” Joe Biden, was vice president.
Just like the Democrats impeached former President Donald Trump twice, but it fell flat in the Senate, the same will likely happen in Biden’s case unless the GOP makes a strong push to win the majority in the Senate.
Virginia Rep. Bob Good explained why he believes Biden should be impeached:
“I have consistently said President Biden should be impeached for intentionally opening our border and making Americans less safe … Congress has a duty to hold the President accountable for this and any other failures of his Constitutional responsibilities, so a new Republican majority must be prepared to aggressively conduct oversight on day one.”
Since Biden took office, at least eight resolutions to impeach him have been offered; three of those resolutions were related to his handling of the southern border crisis, three due to the Afghanistan debacle, one denouncing the eviction moratorium, and one due to Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings.
Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) said:
“Mayorkas and Garland have purposefully made our country less safe, politicized their departments, and violated the rule of law. In some instances, they have instructed their subordinates to disobey our laws. That is unacceptable … Next January I expect the House to pursue my impeachment articles against Mayorkas as well as Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s impeachment articles that I co-sponsored against Attorney General Merrick Garland.”
Not just Biden.
We'll be coming for Mayorkas and Garland too. https://t.co/nt2nPYuvYZ

Rep. Mary Miller recently won an Illinois primary, and she believes Biden should be removed from office:
“Biden and Harris have failed their most basic duty, which is ensuring the safety of the American people through the security of our borders.”
This might motivate the GOP base. It’s time for the GOP to push back on the Democrats’ narratives. If the GOP takes back the House, not only will they hold Biden accountable, but the Biden administration will not be able to pass their trillion-dollar agendas without negotiating with House GOP members.
If the House GOP wins back the majority, we could see legislation passed that both sides, for the first time in a long time, agree on. It could be similar to the days of then-president Bill Clinton and then-speaker of the House Newt Gingrich working together to pass legislation and balance budgets.
But first things first: The GOP must come out in droves and vote. That is the only way Republicans will win back the majority.
