Multiple media sources are reporting that Obama has chosen the chief judge for the D.C. Circuit, Merrick Garland, to be his Supreme Court nominee. I know nothing about him other than that he is a Clinton appointee. At this point, I would normally do some research about him to provide some additional useful information to you, the faithful readers of RedState, so that we can know what we are up against.

But as long as the Senate maintains their intentions to neither vet nor hold hearings on this nominee, I see no real point in treating this latest bit of political theater by Obama as a serious news story. So, in lieu of analysis of Merrick Garland, please enjoy this humorous picture of a tarsier.
