Fight For Schools, the parent group currently fighting to fire most of the Loudoun County School Board, has gained access to some of the materials used for teacher trainings last May and June. They have distributed them as a warning of just how far the teachers unions and public school boards are willing to go to infect education with divisiveness and bias. Some of the highlights from the Fight For Schools recent email blast are chilling.
Below you will find training materials used by the Equity Collaborative for Loudoun County Public Schools teacher training in May/June 2020.
Some highlights from the training:
— “The culturally competent professional does not profess color blindness.”
So if you are a Christian following the doctrine of Galatians 3:28, you will be considered incompetent. You can only be considered a competent educator if you make sure to focus on race above character. Got it. And frankly, what does colorblindness or any other racial point of view have to do with teaching grammar? Nothing. Which is kind of the point of this entire battle for the beleaguered parents of Loudoun County.
— “Culturally competent professionals accept responsibility for their own racism, sexism, heterosexism, etc., and attempt to deal with them in a non-defensive, guilt free manner. They have begun the process of defining a new non-oppressive and non-explotative attitude. In terms of racism, for example, addressing one’s Whiteness (e.g., white privilege) is crucial for effective teaching.”
That, ladies and gentleman, is Critical Race Theory 101. So don’t let the Joy Reids of the tv world try to tell you that conservatives are just being hysterical over CRT because they hate Black History. As you can well see, the parents of Loudoun County know exactly what they are pushing back against. Notice that your race as a white person isn’t the only problem. Your sexuality and how it shapes your desires and worldview is also a huge problem. And if you’re feeling defensive about introducing yourself to the children you’re supposed to lead by telling them that you’re a piece of crap loser for your white heterosexual privilege…well, that’s a problem too. Any parent should be nauseated by the idea of “addressing one’s Whiteness” as something that should belong in math class, Black, White or otherwise.
Are you starting to get the picture of why parents are so upset? They’re paying attention, and the left-wing media should be ashamed to libel good parents who are only doing their jobs.
But wait, there’s more!
— “The culturally competent professional understands the impact and operation of oppression (racism, sexism, heterosexism, etc.), the politics of the education system, and the racist sexist, and homophobic concepts that have permeated institutions.”
Day one of first grade in Loudoun county – learning how to print your name.
Day two – learning how you are just another cog in the racist, heterosexist, homophobic wheel of institutional racism and you can only redeem your racial inferiority by understanding the operation of oppression and working to absolve yourself of your inherent generational guilt.
Day three – arts and crafts.
But here is the most shocking highlight of all. Teachers are being trained to think of themselves not only as teachers, but as second mothers. The Loudoun County School Board wants a parental threesome to raise your children.
— “Teachers have a special role to teach academics (and inculcate morals). ‘The teacher is the second mother.’ Parents’ role is to socialize children (and respect teachers’ authority).”
Got that? The role of parents role is to respect the teachers’ authority as the secondary parent in a child’s life. If any birthing person want to exercise their role as a co-parent with the state and voice their opinions about Critical Race Theory they will first need to…*checks notes*…”accept responsibility for their own racism, sexism, heterosexism, etc., and attempt to deal with them in a non-defensive, guilt free manner.”
The Fight For Schools email includes links to the pdf documents, but here’s a preview of one of the training documents. It is no small wonder the parents of Loudoun County are fighting so hard for their children. This is chilling, to put it mildly.
Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re being hysterical for fighting back. This is a battle for the hearts and minds of our children. Parents cannot ever afford to lose it.
