Illinois Exit Polls: Trump With Slight Edge

Exit polls are out in Illinois, and it shows a close contest: Donald Trump has 38% to Ted Cruz’s 34%. If Illinois remains this close, then that means Cruz may end up with some Congressional delegates, thanks to the bizarre Illinois “loophole” primary, which is explained more thoroughly here.

However, a 3-4 point difference in exit polling is all it takes for an upset, and Cruz could very well make one tonight, something the anti-Trump movement is in desperate need of after the results in Florida. Illinois could very well be the most interesting race of the night.
