I have heard it recently from several friends: I can’t wait until this election is over so things can go back to normal!

To borrow a phrase from Paul Reiser in Mad About You: “Not gonna happen, my friend!”

If the Left has anything to do with it, there will be no return to anything that resembles “Normal”.

Sadly, the rioting and looting in Philadelphia is a precursor to this. Protests erupted on Monday after police shot and killed Walter Wallace, Jr., a mentally ill young man. Wallace wielded a knife at officers and refused to drop it even after repeated orders to do so.

Now there is unrest in the streets, and apparently someone planned for these “spontaneous” protestors to be well armed.

Convenient timing, huh? The unrest is moving into its third day, with no signs of abatement. Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has yet to call in the National Guard, even though this proved to be a game changer in quelling the unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

DEVELOPING: Multiple people including reporters have been shot and/or assaulted during looting & riots currently in #Philadelphia—at least 3 dead with no National Guard in sight.

A group called Shutdown DC is already strategizing to be on the streets before the polls close on November 3.

And where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Do not assume your city or burg will be safe. Shutdown DC is encouraging other so-called grassroots organizations to coordinate and pop up. The message and training resources is already being delivered via the Shutdown DC website.

“If You’re Not in DC:

“Organize in your community! We’re inviting everybody who agrees with these organizing principles to work together to protect our neighbors and our democracy.  Find out where the votes will be counted where you live. Make a plan with others to get there and stay until all the votes are counted. And come up with a plan to create serious disruption if Trump really tries to steal the election!”

Basically, they do not accept your right to your vote if your vote puts President Trump back in office. It’s a blatant form of voter intimidation.

But, deal with it, Trumpers. Sucks to be you, America.

Where is the DOJ? The FBI? Too busy burying the contents of the Hunter Biden laptop and emails, I guess. The Left does not care who will be in the White House, as long as it is not Donald J. Trump.

This is the Left’s goal: suppress and de-legitimize your vote, keep you on edge, discombobulated, and isolated from your community. More lockdowns, less freedom, and more protests.

You didn’t want to be out in that unrest anyway.
