Wearing ‘Don’t Tread on Me’ insignia could be punishable racial harassment.

I’ll just start here by reminding you of something I’ve been warning everyone about for the past two years: You didn’t really think they were going to stop with the Confederate Battle Flag did you? As Volokh points out, there is no indication that the accused worker ever did or said anything to the complainant which could be construed as racially insensitive. He simply wore a cap with the “Don’t Tread on Me” flag on it.   h/t Jazz Shaw at Hotair

‘Black Labs Matter’ image in San Francisco police union newsletter angers activists

Activists are barking mad after the San Francisco police union published a racially charged dog pun in its monthly newsletter. The image on the back page of the Police Officers Association Journal shows a black dog with a sign that reads: “Black Labs Matter.” Next to the posing pup is a white dog with a sign: “All Labs Matter.” “Maybe it’s time we all just sit back and tone down the rhetoric,” reads a caption next to the pair of pooches.

There’s nothing like a nice piece of hickory!

Nothing more need be said. I hated bullies when I was young, and I hate them more even now. My experiences showed me that a bully will continue to harass and terrorize a person until that person decides that they have had enough. Facing down a bully doesn’t always mean a fight, but in my life, it did…and they never bothered me again.

Until we decide that we have had enough and stand up to these bullies, they will never leave us alone. So, please enjoy the open thread…
