The Democrat Party Is Officially the Party of Socialism

Perhaps a decade ago, proclaiming the title above would've been met with various responses from Democrats. One would've been outright denial and claims that you're overreacting. One would've been a correction that it's "democratic socialism," which is effectively sprinkling glitter on a pile of bull droppings. The final response would've been someone in a black hoodie with a red mask on, punching you in the face.

But once Zohran Mandani was elected as New York's mayor, the scene changed. Things shifted. Now you have people outright proclaiming they're socialist and want to push socialism on everyone in the nation. You have some people proclaiming that communism is the future and we should welcome it with open arms, and, of course, you still have someone in a black hoodie and a red mask punching you in the face.

But to solidify the fact that the Democrats are now a socialist party, you need only look at what Democrats are saying after candidates that were backed by Mamdani went three for three in their primaries in New York: Brad Lander, Claire Valdez, and Darializa Avila Chevalier.

Now, as right-leaning people, we of course think that any further lean to the left is bad, but we're not alone. We're disappointed, but Democrats are panicking, as The Hill revealed through a quote from Van Jones:

CNN correspondent Van Jones reacted to major wins from Democratic candidates in New York on Tuesday evening, which unseated two of the party’s incumbent lawmakers.

“This is a battle between the establishment and this insurgency, and the roof is collapsing on the Democratic Party establishment tonight,” Jones said during an appearance on CNN’s “The Source.”

"Insurgency" is an interesting title to give this influx of radical leftist candidates, and even more interesting that it came from a Democrat.

It indicates there's a clear fracture in the party, and one clearly has more momentum and morale than the other. You may think that this is something that will likely stay relegated to deep-blue places like New York, and for a time, you will be correct, but the fact that people like Van Jones are using intense language to describe the spreading socialist infection within the Democrat Party tells me that the experts are worried about something, like birds sensing an oncoming storm and taking flight.

And I'm going to say something that may seem odd at first to your brain, but strategically, I think it's a good idea.

I think we need to make sure the rest of the left understands Van Jones' urgency, and we make sure that his concern of an "insurgency" is correct.

In other words, Van Jones is right.

It's something that CNN contributor Shermichael Singleton had a similar idea about on X:

Democrats have now become the party of socialism. That must be the message from every Republican on TV for the next several months. Every ad and social media post should be a constant reminder of it.

Democrats want bigger government and more control over your lives, Republicans do not. Democrats want to raise your taxes, Republicans want to lower them. Democrats want to give everything away for free, while you work hard to earn what you have.

Democrats promise free everything, but taxpayers always get the bill. Get ready for massive tax hikes.

It's pretty clear Democrats aim to effectively turn us into another European country infected with globalist nonsense, including socialist programs galore, migrant crime, and saddled with heavy regulations that make it nigh impossible to pull yourself up by your own bootstraps.

Singleton is right. Van Jones' fears need to be elaborated on. Our attack on the socialist left needs to be Chaucerian. Every flaw, every pimple, every mistake needs to be pointed out and shown on the proverbial big screen so that America understands what's actually happening beneath the flowery language and "warmth" of collectivism.

The messaging should be relentless and unforgiving.

The stakes are too high for it not to be.
