If South Carolina seems familiar, it's because the primary was just two weeks ago. The races today are runoffs for the GOP nomination, both for Governor and Congressional District 1. For the Palmetto State's top spot, it's Trump-endorsed Lt. Gov. Pam Evette versus the state's Attorney General, Alan Wilson. The CD-1 runoff pits Charleston County Councilwoman Jenny Honeycutt against state Rep. Mark Smith.

Maryland voters are deciding several closely watched primary races tonight, led by the Democratic contest in the state's 6th Congressional District, where incumbent Rep. April McClain Delaney faces a well-funded challenge from former Congressman David Trone in one of the nation's most expensive House primaries. Another marquee race is the open 5th District seat being vacated by longtime Rep. Steny Hoyer, with a crowded Democratic field battling to succeed him.

On the statewide front, Gov. Wes Moore is expected to cruise to renomination on the Democratic side, while Republicans are choosing among nine candidates — including 2022 nominee Dan Cox and businessman Ed Hale — to challenge Moore in November.

The real heat is likely to come out of New York. Tonight's primary elections are dominated by a series of high-profile Democratic congressional contests that could shape both the ideological direction of the state's delegation and the fight for control of the U.S. House. Among the key races are Rep. Dan Goldman's battle against former New York City Comptroller Brad Lander in the 10th District, the open 7th District seat vacated by Rep. Nydia Velázquez, and the crowded race to replace retiring Rep. Jerry Nadler in the 12th District. Also worth watching are Democratic primaries in the swing 17th District, where voters will choose a challenger to Republican Rep. Mike Lawler, and the Republican primary in the open 21st District following Elise Stefanik's decision not to seek reelection.

Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will determine the fate of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must maintain control of both chambers of Congress.
