Disney's Latest Move Proves They're Terrified of You Seeing Their New Snow White Movie

Disney is currently shaking in its boots, and it's all thanks to you.

The entertainment Goliath has been hit with too many stones and is currently cowering in the dark, hoping you'll pass it by without incident, and nothing shows that more than its newest decision about its upcoming live-action Snow White cash grab.

According to the Daily Mail, Disney has actually canceled its London premiere over fear of "anti-woke backlash":

Earlier this months, a source told Daily Mail: 'Disney is already anticipating an anti-woke backlash against Snow White and have reduced the media schedule to just a handful of tightly controlled press events.'

'That is why they have taken the highly unusual step not to host a London premiere for the film and are minimizing the amount of press questions that Rachel Zegler gets,' the insider revealed.

This is being done in order to decrease the movie's profile, as usually, premieres are more for the media than the audience. The purpose is to generate interest in the movie, but Disney seems to be actively avoiding generating more attention to it than they usually would any major release.

The reasons for this are several, and not just relegated to "anti-woke backlash." Lead actress Rachel Zegler spent an inordinate amount of time being absolutely insufferable about the film, which included insulting the original 1937 animated feature. Moreover, talk around the film shows that it is a modernized remake, which remakes the Snow White character into something a bit more cookie cutter for the current times.

As I've said before in a previous video, modern Disney has completely and utterly missed the point of Snow White and where her true strength actually lay, as modern writers with their ideologically rigidity are completely blind to what was basic knowledge to people for generations.

Disney only found out this wasn't going to please audiences too late, and now it's attempting to reduce the people's will to go see it by not hyping it up as much as possible. There's more to be gained with apathy at this point, because Disney is clearly trying to head in a different direction, and they don't want you getting the impression this is who they still are.

You could see just how scared Disney is of making anyone angry, especially on a political level, with Captain America: Brave New World, which underwent 11th hour rewrites and reshoots. One anonymous person who worked on the movie even spelled it out plainly, stating:

I think everyone on the crew knew this is probably not going to be a good film. Some of the action sequences were not believable. We had a lot of frustrations on set. After principal photography was finished, it was like, “Oh, we’re going to introduce the leader of the Serpent Society.” It was on, then it was off, then it was on again. That’s very expensive to do. My co-workers who spent more time on Brave New World than I did said, “Yeah, this has been a really rough production.”

When the studio had its test in front of an audience, it didn’t respond. Maybe they don’t want to see anything political in an election year? Maybe they were divided on who they were voting for? General Ross reads as an allusion to Trump. He’s this very powerful general who becomes kind of a fascist and turns into a raging Red Hulk. This is my opinion, but I think Disney was realizing, Hey, we’ve been bleeding for a while. Let’s try not to piss off our core base any more than we have been over the last couple of years. They know you’re going to lose a lot of your audience that way.
