The Elite Are Killing This Country

"I have never let my schooling interfere with my education." - Mark Twain

I'm daily reminded that my lack of a college education was probably a blessing. I watch as people with degrees that cost an ungodly amount of money to get, say and do things that are, frankly, bizarre. Their beliefs can only be described as delusional, yet we're expected to trust them as if they're the smartest, wisest people in any given room they walk into.

The over-educated, well-connected, and oftentimes heavily protected people in America form what we call the "elite class," a comparatively small group of people in America who get to make all the decisions for the bulk of Americans. It's bad enough that they get to decide so much of what our country does, but their power becomes even more egregious when you see that their track record of being right is just awful.

These elitists will tell you to believe in a reality that you can see doesn't exist right in front of your face.

For instance, you could see that, during the pandemic, the coronavirus didn't really affect too many people for the worst — mostly the elderly and morbidly obese. Yet the elites pushed overbearing prevention measures that not only didn't work, they made the spread worse. For instance, it was pretty clear that the virus was very easily transmittable indoors... which is exactly where the elite told us to stay, even punishing those who were caught outdoors.

They told us to wear masks, yet common sense told us that was like trying to build a chain link fence to keep mosquitos out. The masks did little to help at all, yet you were told to wear a facial covering everywhere you went. I knew we had reached peak insanity with masks when I was told by my bank that I couldn't enter unless my bandana was up over my face. Yet, that's what was required. The elites said so.

The elites also told us that an unproven vaccine was the sure-fire way to stop the virus... then they said it doesn't stop it, but it does help to stop the spread... and then they said that it merely reduces the symptoms enough so that it doesn't kill you... and now we wait for the admission that these unproven vaccines might actually have some dangerous side effects, but I doubt the elite will acknowledge that. Not in large number, at least.

These are the same elite who looked us dead in the eye, pointed their finger at us, and told us that there are no men or women, that gender is a social construct, and that all society must recognize that there are people who are not male or female, and that some are male, but are actually female, and that females can share locker rooms with males who believe they're females, and that all it takes to be a different gender than the one you were born as is to declare it.

People lost their jobs and became public pariahs for not embracing this lunacy right away. The elite attempted to force this kind of thinking through legal channels as well, fining businesses that misgender patrons.

There are so many subjects the elite have us invest so much time and money in that ultimately have no real relevance to society or bearing in reality. Oftentimes, these subjects are exaggerations based on a kernel of truth. Climate change will cause the world to end next week, or next month, or next year, and it's all your fault. Give the elite more power so they can control the weather.

Racism is out of control. Give the elite more power so they can finally end racism through programs like "DEI," an elitist concept that failed miserably.

We're told to trust the elite because they're highly educated. They're referred to as "experts," and their shelves are decorated with awards showing you how smart and trusted they should be, but these awards were given to them by other elites.

While I have no doubt that there are people out there who are experts in their field and should be relied on to help the public through times of trouble, I think it's more important to first trust what one can see and hear for themselves. Personal experience oftentimes trumps expert opinion. If my kid demonstrates a penchant for learning things in a certain manner, then the "expert" who comes in and says my son needs to learn it a different way is wrong.

Common Core math, another elitist project, is a good example of that.

The point is that the elite are too often idiots. They use their connections to worm their way into important positions, then proceed to let their idiocy destroy our institutions, be that the CDC or Disney. They're disconnected, uninformed, and too often times, completely delusional.

All this to say, I'm really glad to see the people who are now taking control in America are being sneered at and insulted by the elite. It really gives me confidence that we're going to be okay.
