Amongst the bedlam and cacophony on X after a New York jury found Trump guilty on all counts, former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson took to Twitter to celebrate in his own way, by telling everyone that they should respect the verdict despite it being a farce.
"It is not easy to see a former President and the presumptive GOP nominee convicted of felony crimes; but the jury verdict should be respected," posted Hutchinson. " An appeal is in order but let’s not diminish the significance of this verdict."

This is par for the course for Hutchinson who has been borderline giddy of the DOJ and FBI being weaponized against Trump while simultaneously claiming that if Trump is elected president he'll weaponize the DOJ and FBI against his opponents.
This is the same Hutchinson that has leftist tendencies such as forcing children to wear masks in schools and allowing children to be injected with puberty blockers and hormones because a parent said so.
Naturally, Hutchinson is getting absolutely dragged on X as well he should.
Anyone who supports this destruction of rule of law, as you do here, is to be condemned.

Wow. That’s pathetic.

And I don’t even like Trump. At all.
But I know a kangaroo court when I see it. Horrible take, Asa.
Respected? The fix was in from the beginning. Just look at the judge's jury instructions, let alone all of his one-sided rollings throughout this trial.

The common theme here is that Hutchinson tweet is really just a celebration of the destruction of our justice system by a political party for their own benefit, and Hutchinson can't seem to see that because of his acute case of TDS.
This is not the moment to be a centrist. This is not the moment to accept that what just happened in New York to Trump is anything close to okay.
Whether you like Trump or not is irrelevant. This was a political witch hunt meant to complicate Trump's path to the White House in 2024. We may end up seeing that what Democrats actually did was spool out a slip n' slide straight into the Oval Office and cover it with grease before throwing Trump down it. However, regardless of the outcome, this is one of the most tragic moments for America.
So Hutchinson can dance, but if he's going to, he might as well drop any pretense that he's somehow a Republican. He's the furthest thing from one.
But he's not alone. The Republicans who can't see past their hatred for Trump are all out spiking footballs.
He's joined by Maryland's Larry Hogan as well who couldn't help himself either.
"Regardless of the result, I urge all Americans to respect the verdict and the legal process," said Hogan. "At this dangerously divided moment in our history, all leaders—regardless of party—must not pour fuel on the fire with more toxic partisanship. We must reaffirm what has made this nation great: the rule of law."

Funny how the common theme between these RINOs is "respect the verdict."
Funny how they always want us to put our partisanship away and come together.
What they're asking for isn't really partisanship, it's surrender.
