Driving in a city can be infuriating enough thanks to bad drivers but when you add zealots from the Church of Climate Change, it can just be downright intolerable. Luckily, the drivers in Portugal didn't have the patience and knew what to do immediately.
True to form, Portuguese climate activists known as "Climaximo," a self-described anti-capitalist (surprise, surprise) climate justice collective based in Lisbon, decided to block traffic at Lisbon’s Segunda Circular highway on Tuesday. According to Fox News, the group was protesting the energy company Galp.
The big plan was to do what every climate activist group does, sit in the roadway and block traffic in order to raise awareness about the "genocide" being undertaken by the company.
Yes, that's what the group is actually accusing the company of doing.
But the protest only lasted a few minutes because Portuguese drivers weren't at all having it. A video posted to X shows just how fast motorists cleared out the protesters, destroyed their signs, and went on with their day.
As you'll see, they weren't gentle, and eventually, the protesters got up and left of their own accord.

According to the Portugal Resident, nine of the activists were arrested but they were out holding new protests by Wednesday. Despite being cleared out by angry motorists and being arrested, the group felt it wasn't causing any public disorder, they proceeded to cement their delusions about proclaiming that Galp is burning people alive:
"Public disorder is established when there are no services to serve people in Portugal, when there is no housing, when there is no insulation of houses," he told the news outlet.
The group believes governments and companies around the world have "declared war on people and the planet" in a "premeditated and coordinated act of violence."
"They are right now killing thousands of people, dumping tens of millions, burning them alive, drowning them. They are right now condemning millions of people to gas chambers, only this time, the gases are greenhouse gases and the chamber is the entire planet. This is called climate breakdown and it is a premeditated and coordinated act of violence," the activists claim on their website.
Of course, their alarmism is completely ridiculous. Even all combined, mankind's contribution of carbon into the atmosphere is just a small fraction of what nature introduces naturally, and even then, the planet is very good at knowing what to do with carbon. As I covered in more detail, actual scientists have declared the man-made climate change crisis a bunch of nonsense, and that at the end of the day what this all really is is the push to implement socialism and communism.

Because the science doesn't actually matter and this is all about a radical leftist system of governance, you won't see these protesters stop blocking roadways and throwing soup on priceless works of art anytime soon.
As I wrote on the subject previously, these people aren't here to be reasoned with and they won't consider any alternatives or compromises. They are religious zealots and they will only understand one language; force.

Merciless, fast, efficient, and forceful. These people might think they're just delaying traffic for the cause and getting people's attention but what they're really doing endangers the lives of motorists and themselves, putting people's livelihoods at risk, and possibly stopping help from getting to those who need it.
Every climate protest group needs to be made an example of this in this way. The moment they appear is the moment people get out of their cars and clear them out forcefully. This doesn't mean using deadly force or going overboard with violence, but it does mean unapologetic manhandling until the protesters are either removed or they move themselves.
These aren't good guys. These aren't people just trying to save the planet. These are brainwashed communist operatives with too much time and not enough purpose. They don't care if you're in the midst of an emergency as one mother trying to get her baby to a hospital was, they believe their purpose is bigger.
It's not.
