The ongoing effort by the press to automatically oppose anything President Trump enacts is not just ongoing, it is getting worse. We see more examples of the desire to protect and defend hardened criminals from being deported, regardless of how repugnant their actions have been. From making their immigration status veiled to manipulating stats, they continue to take the wrong side on this issue.
Getting worse is the manner we now see news outlets aiding the public in thwarting ICE detaining procedures. In one case we have a major metropolitan newspaper actually providing a tutorial for residents who have illegally hired immigrants on how they can protect their hired labor from federal enforcement agents. The brazen presentation needs to be heard.
And finally we see how reflexively supportive of activists outlets can become when Axios promotes a new boycott, all while admitting that the group behind the effort is completely ineffectual with a track record of making no impact whatsoever.
Now, crack one open and savor some outmoded media malpractice and misinformation.
