Trump Is Doing the Right Thing by Calling It a "Chinese Virus"

The knee-jerk reaction by the left to almost anything anyone on the right does, ever, is to immediately label it as racist. It’s pretty much step one of the leftist playbook and they abuse it to such a degree that, as I’ve said so much my face is turning blue, the word “racism” has no meaning anymore.

As I wrote in a previous article, the term “racist” or “racism” really only seems to apply down party lines despite actually racism taking place on the left constantly:

But you don’t even have to be doing anything to necessarily be labeled as racist. Are you a white Republican? You’re a racist? Are you a doctor or a nurse? Kamala Harris thinks you’re a racist. Did you vote for Trump? Clinton thinks you’re a racist. Are you a Hispanic woman wearing a MAGA hat? A white SJW will be along shortly to label you as racist. According to the activist left, Veggie Tales is racist too. Oh, and Lord of the Rings also causes racism to magically appear in people.

Most recently, Steven Crowder was labeled as a racist for daring to call Vox’s Carlos Maza a Mexican, which he is, and is something Carlos Maza proudly calls himself.

What isn’t racist? Anything that the left does.

MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace claimed there wasn’t a “strain of racism” on the left. Yet leftists activists and politicians embrace rabid antisemites like Nation of Islam hate preacher Louis Farrakhan, who think Hitler was a great man and that Jewish people are termites. CNN’s Don Lemon called white men the number one threat to America.  Leftist “comedian” Kristine Wong made a YouTube show that openly teaches kids racism against white people.

Even Virginia governors doing blackface seem only elicit a finite amouint of outrage from racially obsessed activists.

Now, Donald Trump is a racist because he’s labeled the Wuhan Coronavirus as a Chinese virus. Thing is, he’s completely right to on two levels.

For one, that’s where the virus is from and understanding that is good for many reasons, especially scientific ones. It’s good for us to know where the virus started, under what conditions it was fostered, and how it managed to spread so quickly. Knowing everything from geography to population sizes, to sanitation levels in the area are key to knowing more about the pandemic plaguing the globe.

Secondly, it’s good that Trump is calling the virus that simply because it shows that he’s not willing to cave to Chinese censorship or social justice outrage. He’s standing firm against both, and the more he says it the more the left and the communist Chinese government understands that Trump can’t and won’t be controlled. You can’t guilt him into going along with asinine rules cooked up by people with agendas that only hurt other people.

When Trump recently lashed out at the media and China, he highlighted just how right he was.

“We were very prepared. The only thing we weren’t prepared for was the media, the media has not treated it fairly,” Trump said to a reporter during a press briefing. “I’ll tell you how prepared I was, I called for a ban from people coming in from China long before anybody thought it was – in fact, it was your network, I believe they called me a racist because I did that.”

“Many of the people in the room, they called me racist and other words because I did that,” he continued. “Because I went so early, so when you say we weren’t prepared, had I let these tens of thousands of people come in from China a day, we would have had something right now, that would have been — you wouldn’t have even recognized it compared to where we are.”

The only people in the wrong right now are the media who are trying to help China lie and attack our own leaders. The disgust I have toward the American media lately is nearly indescribable. They’re literally proving Trump right when he says the media is the enemy of the people.
