If you wonder how infected the left is with social justice, then here’s an eye-opening example for you. CNN is currently angry that Trump’s Coronavirus task force is primarily made up of white men.
While many organizations, including education boards in the UK and Canada, as well as the World Health Organization, have all warned against xenophobia, stigmas, and racism as a result of the Coronavirus, CNN is taking it to a whole new level by actively attacking the people trying to stop the spread.
They tweeted this out on Thursday along with an image that showed Trump’s virus task force vs Obama’s in order to illustrate the diversity.

If CNN was hoping to create some kind of scandal, it definitely backfired. The responses weren’t pleasant…for CNN.
You are so committed to keeping your low ratings.

This needs to be fixed immediately.
When I lay dying of bat soup fever, I want to be able to say that the task force may not have been the most qualified, but goddamn they were a diverse bunch.

Your commitment to stupid, irrelevant nonsense is admirable.

When it comes to a possible pandemic of a deadly virus that could kill millions… diversity is not the main goal but hey…. you do you, @CNNPolitics 🙄

The article didn’t make things any better, however:
“We will continue to monitor the ongoing developments,” the President said in his post. “We have the best experts anywhere in the world, and they are on top of it 24/7!”
Who are these experts? They’re largely the same sorts of white men (and a couple women on the sidelines) who’ve dominated the Trump administration from the very beginning.
By contrast, former President Barack Obama’s circle of advisers in the face of the 2014 Ebola outbreak in West Africa was hardly so monochromatic. Neither was it so abysmal in terms of gender diversity. (Of course, to contextualize, Obama’s administration, on the whole, was far more diverse than Trump’s.)
And yet, as unsurprising as the diversity issue in the Trump era has become, it’s still worth pointing out from time to time, especially as the country approaches the 2020 presidential election in earnest.
In other words, forget about the virus that has the potential to ravage the world, more important is pointing out Trump’s possible racism as we go into an election year.
This is the problem with the social justice obsessed left. They don’t focus on the talent or knowledge, they focus on shallow things like identity.
There is a virus that is literally killing people left and right that has the potential to spread by leaps and bounds if measures aren’t taken. Screw that, though. We should be more worried about the idea of racism and xenophobia. We should focus more on diversity instead of accomplishing the task.
That they would focus on how people look vs the best people for the job should make one glad that we have the administration in place that we do. At a time when organizations with leftist bents are trying to warn everyone away from being racist and open their arms to potential infection so that we don’t look racist, we have people in charge who act like adults and do what’s necessary to contain a deadly virus.
