Judge Hannah Dugan, Convicted of Concealing an Illegal Alien From ICE, Just Got Bad News From the Court

Yeah, not so much, Judge Adelman retorted in his Monday ruling. Not only did he say there is no "general rule of criminal immunity for judges," but he also argued that Dugan acted outside of her normal duties as a judge by helping Ruiz escape.

Trump Offers Artemis II Astronauts Oval Office Visit — Crew Offers Immediate Reply

Remarkably, as NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman notes, these heroes expressed hope that their mission would be forgotten, a footnote to further lunar exploration and missions to Mars.

Despicable: Iranian Regime's Vile Move to Try to Stop Trump From Hitting Power Plants

They know we care about life; they saw us go to great lengths to get an officer back when he was on the run for two days after he was shot down in Iran. Meanwhile, the regime couldn't give a darn about the lives of its people, and this shows just how desperate they are.

Bearing Arms — SCOTUS Turns Away Challenge to Carry Ban on Public Transportation

The lack of a circuit court split shouldn't be reason enough to let that injustice stand, but apparently its enough for a majority of justices. Or... even worse, a majority of the Court actually agrees with the Seventh Circuit, despite what it held in Bruen just four years ago

Hot Air — BREAKING: US Pounds Kharg Island Ahead of Trump's Deadline

Trump wants people to know that he's not bluffing, and that he's going to play all his cards at some point. He's got a much better hand than the mullahs' pair of deuces, and if he seizes Kharg Island, they won't even be able to afford the ante. Stay tuned.

PJ Media — The J6 Pipe Bomb Update You Don't Want to Miss

You may recall a story published by The Blaze last December that accused a former Capitol police officer, now an employee of the CIA, of dropping the two pipe bombs found in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6, 2021.

Townhall — CNN's Scott Jennings Asked This Dem Rep a Simple Question. He Couldn't Answer It.

Also, can Democrats stop acting like they’re a popular alternative? They’re not. NBC News had Immigration and Customs Enforcement polling higher than them. All they do is whine about Trump.

Twitchy — John Konrad BLISTERS Europe In a Devastating Post About the REAL Reason NATO Is In Trouble

Europe would do well to not attack Konrad, but to listen to him. Because, as he said, he wasn't issuing a threat.

Just a weather report.

WHAT'S ON TAP?

Today on Capitol Hill...

We continue into Week Two of the critters being out for their Spring/Easter break. Pro forma sessions and continued jawing over DHS funding are the order of the day.

White House What's Up

President Trump's Monday was an interesting combination/juxtaposition.

Here's his Tuesday schedule:

  • 8:00 AM — THE PRESIDENT participates in Executive Time — The White House
  • 4:00 PM — THE PRESIDENT participates in a Policy Meeting — Oval Office
  • 7:00 PM — THE PRESIDENT participates in a Dinner with the U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of India — The White House

And, of course, 8:00 PM Eastern is the deadline he's given Iran to get their act together — though...it sounds like there's already quite a bit of "kinetic" activity going on even as I write this.

Keeping Up With the Cabinet

Admin. Small Business Administration - Kelly Loeffler — Loeffler highlighted the small business angle of family farms as the White House hosted its annual Easter Egg Roll on Monday.

Gotta play catch-up on court rulings today, but there were some notable ones on Monday.

COMING ATTRACTIONS

Artemis II is on its way back to Earth and scheduled to splash down on Friday.

The Supreme Court will resume hearing oral arguments the week of April 23, and we're likely to get a few more decisions handed down in the interim.

As noted above, Tuesday evening at 8:00 PM Eastern is the deadline President Trump has given Iran. We'll see what comes of that.

MORNING MUSING

It's Election Day here in Missouri — mostly local and municipal elections, so you won't hear much about it. Expected voter turnout is in the low-mid teens. But that means this is the day when my/your (Missourians') vote counts the most

Many of these races will come down to a handful of votes — and they involve candidates and issues that affect us significantly: taxing, education, zoning. The sorts of things it's easy to take for granted and breeze past. But...we shouldn't. They matter. And our vote matters — more than it ever does at the state and federal level.

So, yes, I'll be taking the time (very little of it, given the anticipated turnout) to vote today. 🇺🇸
