While there was still some fallout from the shutdown debacle, the press dutifully followed the lead of the Democrats to distract from that failure. And distract did they ever! The release of selective emails from the Jeffrey Epstein estate by the Democrats on the subcommittee had the press in overdrive, insisting that there was proof to bring down the president.
The keyword there is “insist,” as all the examples trotted out and highlighted were sorely lacking in accuracy or actual proof. But do not be swayed by the lack of evidence; take their word for it, this will cause Trump’s demise! Of course, this has also meant many sources decided to align with the infamous pedophile to deliver critiques of Trump. Epstein is supposedly one of the worst people ever… and he is also a credible character witness, according to sources.
It is time to pull on the hip waders once again and slog through this week’s media mayhem.
THE CONTENDERS
The BBC – Issued an apology to Donald Trump, while insisting it would defy a court case if brought against the network. In all of the need to defend the network, what it managed was to highlight the internal review that showed the errors were so voluminous that it averages two corrections a day on news items. Then, almost as if to prove critics correct, during this controversy, the outlet misquoted a member of the British Parliament commenting on the flap and had to take down a post.
I didn’t say the death penalty for ‘overseas and foreign’ criminals.
— Rupert Lowe MP (@RupertLowe10) November 12, 2025
I quite clearly said foreign and domestic.
What is wrong with the BBC?
An urgent correction and apology please, @BBCPolitics. https://t.co/Djz1Y9c8JO
PBS – Ken Burns was promoting his new documentary series on the American Revolution, and he could not refrain from delivering the canard that people in rural America would be harmed by the defunding of PBS. The channel was so desperate to spin the BBC news scandal that they brought on Brian Stelter to continue his rehab tour on behalf of the British outlet. The network reported on anonymous military members allegedly seeking legal counsel because they do not like some of their mission directives from the administration. A victim of the federal defunding, “PBS News Weekend” was announced to be cancelled.
MSNBC →MS NOW – John Fetterman told Katie Tur that he is no longer welcome on the network for his views, and after she denied this, he gave her more of his uncomfortable viewpoints. On “Morning Joe,” they tried to corner Scott Bessent on the tariffs, and he gave them an econ lesson. The name change took place this weekend, and the palpable apathy has been felt by many. After rebranding the network, it was less than five hours in when Ali Velshi hosted the segment with the first “Nazi” reference. (Something we noted Nicolle Wallace denied anyone on the Left engages in.)
CNN- Manu Raju does not press the Democrats when they admit to being behind the shutdown. Abby Phillip says she follows conspiracies closely in order to beat back the comments on her show made by conservatives. Pick which is more ludicrous: Suggest those on the left do not traffic in conspiracies, or that she said this to noted bat-crap conspiracist Joy Reid. Brian Stelter spent much of the week defending the BBC and ignoring that an internal study displayed voluminous examples of journalistic ethical violations. Stelter also thought he had a slam on Fox News, when in fact he was showing the press buying into Democrat spin and taking the side of the known pedophile Epstein.
THE WINNER

ROLLING STONE
The reliably off-kilter magazine has been consistently off-base as it went all-in on the Epstein emails.
They touted the email where Epstein said Trump “knew about the girls,” but failed to offer that Trump had gone to the authorities about Epstein's predations.
Avowed “investigative reporter” Doug Boguslaw claimed an email proved Donald Trump was consorting with Jeffrey Epstein even though A) He was president a the time and it was never reported, and B) Epstein was in Paris, while the easily-researched detail was that Trump was in Florida on the date of the supposed encounter.
It offered up a timeline of Trump’s relationship with Epstein, and where it ended, which disproves almost every claim made this week about the contents of various emails.
They also noted that two emails were between Epstein and Trump book author Michael Wolf, but left out how Wolf noted Epstein’s anger at Trump was in part because Trump went to the authorities.
Elsewhere, the outlet highlights the “war” between Marjorie Taylor Greene and Trump, but good luck finding coverage of all the infighting with Democrats regarding the shutdown and Chuck Schumer’s power.
The outlet continues to feed the unhealthy attraction to killer Luigi Mangione by pimping a new book on the guy.
There was a deeply helpful explainer for the popular school kids' verbal meme, the “6 - 7” craze.
Editor's Note: The mainstream media continues to deflect, gaslight, spin, and lie about President Trump, his administration, and conservatives.
