New: Minnesota Trans Shooter's 'Affirming' Mother Goes Dark, Refuses to Cooperate With Authorities

As RedState reported, a "trans-identifying" shooter murdered two children at a Catholic school in Minnesota on Wednesday before killing himself. He left behind a trove of writings, videos, and pictures that helped provide insight into his derangement. Some of his stated views included hating Christians, supporting the Holocaust, wanting to kill Donald Trump, being pro-Palestinian, and believing that he needed to "protect equality," referring to LGBT issues.

In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, Democrat politicians and press members immediately pivoted to attacking prayer, claiming that it was a distraction to talk about the shooter's identity and ideology.

Meanwhile, mainstream press outlets decided not "misgendering" the killer was a primary concern. Which brings me to this clip from CNN, from disgraced former FBI official Andrew McCabe.

Putting aside how grotesque it is to continue to push the now-deceased psychopath's delusions by describing him as a "daughter," the big news there is that the mother of the shooter has clammed up

The mother of transgender Minneapolis mass shooter Robin Westman is not cooperating with police in the investigation — and has hired a criminal defense attorney in the wake of the deadly shooting killed two young children and injured 18 others.

Mary Grace Westman, who worked at Annunciation Catholic School, which was targeted by the deranged 23-year-old gunman Wednesday morning, has not contacted police — nor responded to their attempts to reach her, Minneapolis police announced at a press conference Thursday.

“We have not been successful in talking to the shooter’s mother,” Police Chief Brian O’Hara said.

Hiring a lawyer isn't necessarily a red flag. No matter how good one's intentions might be, when you interact with law enforcement, it's always best to do so with professional guidance. Still, it is a red flag that she went completely dark, apparently fleeing her properties (she also owned a home in Florida) and refusing to respond to the police, if for no other reason than to tell them she will cooperate but only through her lawyer.

It sure seems like she's concerned about some type of liability. Notably, it has been reported that the mother signed off on her killer son's transgender name change back in 2019 and was supportive of his "transition," just as the Democratic Party and mainstream press outlets demand. That begs the question of how much she knew about just how off the deep end her son had gone. Did she know he was planning this attack? Was she aware of his psychotic views and ramblings? Did she have a chance to report them to the police and chose not to? Did she have a role in him procuring the weapons used?

I don't know the answers to those questions. I'm not making any direct allegations against her other than I think it was dangerous and insane for her to directly affirm her son's "transition." But those are fair questions that are going to be asked, given her lack of cooperation with the authorities. Something doesn't feel right here.
