Ok, maybe it won’t blow your mind if you fully expect Democrats to be massive hypocrites, but it’s at least mind-blowing in a vacuum.

Drew Holden, who’s quickly become one of my favorite commenters on Twitter (be sure to go give him a like and follow), has put together a thread outlining some of the major flip flops regarding Democrat politicians and their views on sexual assault allegations.

We’ve gone from “believe all women” to “I believe Joe Biden” in the blink of an eye. There was no introspection that drove this change either. It was purely politics. Until two months ago, every Democrat was still pushing the line that women should always be believed. As that last tweet shows, Elizabeth Warren used that assertion against Michael Bloomberg as recently as February.

Yet, here she is saying that Biden was “convincing” because he repeated a denial. Keep in mind, Kavanaugh was not only called a liar by these people; it was demanded that he exonerate himself. Even when he partially did that by showing calendars not mentioning the party Blasey Ford claimed she was at, he was still maligned and picked apart.

But Biden says ” I didn’t do it” and that’s enough for all these Democrats. That’s not consistency, that’s hypocrisy on a scale that’s hard to even fathom. How anyone who so tried to destroy Kavanaugh could now defend Biden with a straight face doesn’t even compute. It’s absolutely shameless.

All these “vows” to stand with women meant nothing. It was always about taking down Republicans and nothing more. The #metoo movement targeting Democrat financier Harvey Weinstein in the process was just a sacrifice they were willing to make. When the movement got close to people that could cost them power though, they kicked it to the curb without a second thought.

Congrats to them on destroying their movement. They will never regain their credibility on this subject, though they’ll try to flip the script again the next time a Republican is accused. You can guarantee it.
