Well, it’s official. We are headed to a full House vote.

The articles of impeachment, which include “abuse of power” and “obstruction of Congress,” have been passed out of the Judiciary Committee.

The vote happened along party lines, which is probably the least surprising part of all this. It does put Nancy Pelosi in an odd position, as she previously vowed she would not support impeachment if it wasn’t bi-partisan. This clearly wasn’t.

Republicans gave their response:

This now heads to the full House for a vote, where it will certainly pass. The only question is how many Democrats defect and further embarrass Pelosi. Odds are it’s going to be at least ten.
