Lawsuit Seeks Documents Showing the Chinese Hacked Hillary, FBI Ignored Evidence

But her emails, right?

Yes, it’s an old story at this point but the cover-up becomes no less important to expose despite the passage of time. The beginnings of this episode in Hillary’s America actually starts mid-last year with a little publicized claim by Rep. Louis Gohmert. The Daily Caller has the details.

The watchdog group Judicial Watch is suing the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) to produce records detailing the FBI response to warnings that a foreign power has comprised then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s email server.

The Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) found that Clinton’s server was compromised with malware that caused every one of Clinton’s emails to be copied to a foreign entity, according to a congressman on the House Judiciary Committee.

In July 2018, during the committee’s questioning of Strzok, Republican Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert described a meeting in which named members of the ICIG staff met with Strzok. He said they informed Stzrok of “an anomaly they had found on Hillary Clinton’s emails that were going to the private unauthorized server that you were supposed to be investigating.”

“It was going to an unauthorized source that was a foreign entity unrelated to Russia,” Gohmert said.

Stzrok denied he had been given information of the hack, although he admits he did meet with the ICIG. The story died a quick death after that and the assertion that Hillary’s server was not compromised has become conventional wisdom in liberal circles.

Judicial Watch is stepping in to try to get to the bottom of this. Namely, they want to see the communications between the ICIG and the FBI, specifically Peter Strzok. Was the FBI told the server had been compromised and if so, why did they ignore that information in their rush to brush her wrongdoing under the rug?

The FBI even went out of it’s way to proclaim definitively that there had been no intrusion. So who was right? Consider the FBI’s previous behavior regarding the case.

Similarly, the FBI issued a statement responding to TheDCNF’s report that said it had “not found any evidence” of an intrusion.

The failure of the FBI to detect a problem that another agency was able to find also raises questions about whether the FBI’s review of Clinton’s security practices was thorough.

That dynamic has arisen before. Texts between Strzok and his mistress indicate that the FBI was ready to close the investigation of Clinton’s server before the ICIG flagged something the FBI missed: that some emails were explicitly marked classified.

That last detail is one a lot of people may have missed. Inexplicably, the FBI was going to close the Clinton email case earlier than they did because they weren’t even competent enough to notice classified markings on emails that were sitting in plain sight. It took the ICIG flagging them for that to be included in their findings. Does that sound like the FBI was taking this seriously or looking to quickly wrap things up?

While it’s not proven yet, this is a string that needs to be pulled on. These documents need to be released and any communications between the ICIG and FBI exposed. If Peter Strzok (and by virtue of leadership, McCabe and Comey) were shown evidence that the Chinese hacked Hillary’s server, they need to answer for why they tried to cover it up. The entire email investigation was handled in blatantly corrupt fashion. There were the ridiculous immunity deals, no one being charged after lying to the FBI, allowing Clinton’s co-conspirators to operate as her lawyers, exonerating Clinton weeks before she was even interviewed, and now there’s possible evidence that the FBI ignored evidence she was hacked.

If the FBI ever wants to gain it’s credibility back, it needs to answer for what went on back in 2015-2016 with this investigation. There’s no reason to keep this under wraps except to protect bad actors.
