Here we go again.
As United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer has proven recently, since the U.S. Operation Epic Hammer mission against Iran commenced, he is not a reliable partner as we try to open up the Strait of Hormuz and prevent the terrorist Islamic Republic regime from ever obtaining nuclear weapons.
The U.K. initially refused to let us use their airbases, then did somewhat of an about-face — but not before the damage to the friendship had already been done.
Now Starmer is once again distancing himself from the U.S., the country with which he supposedly has a “special relationship.” “You guys do the dirty work, he seemed to tell us, “and we’ll reap the benefits when you’re done.”
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Monday that whatever the pressure, Britain would not be dragged into the Iran war nor be involved in a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
"We're not supporting the blockade," he told BBC Radio 5 Live, adding that it was vital to get the Strait reopened.
He talks a big game — but can he back it up?

We must get the Strait opened ASAP, he argued, and we’ll send in a couple of minesweepers and make speeches, but we’re doing it with our European friends, not with you.
"It is, in my view, vital that we get the Strait open and fully open, and that's where we've put all of our efforts in the last few and we'll continue to do so," Starmer said.
Britain had minesweepers in the region, he said, and while he could not discuss operational matters, the military capability was "focused from our point of view on getting the Strait full open."

The United Kingdom is not the only European country to prove that they’re not people you want to be in a foxhole with — Germany, France, and especially Spain have not exactly stepped up to the plate. They have shown such little loyalty that Trump is reportedly considering punishing the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
(Note: It’s not the North American Treaty Organization, as The New York Times would have you think.)

After ceasefire talks in Islamabad between the U.S. and Iran collapsed over the weekend, Trump announced Sunday he would impose a blockade on the Strait, preventing ships from visiting Iranian ports. He also said our forces would intercept vessels that had paid a toll to the Islamic Republic.
Starmer posted to social media Monday that he is gathering a consortium of European allies to consider ways to open the Strait. Helping the United States doesn’t appear to be on the menu. Instead, they’re going to have a “summit”:
The ongoing closure of the Strait of Hormuz is deeply damaging. Getting global shipping moving is vital to ease cost of living pressures.

This week the UK and France will co-host a summit to advance work on a coordinated, independent, multinational plan to safeguard international shipping when the conflict ends.
The Iranians must be quaking in their boots.
Editor's Note: For decades, former presidents have been all talk and no action. Now, Donald Trump is eliminating the threat from Iran once and for all.
