The bombshell news broke last Sunday that former President Joe Biden had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. The consolation messages poured in from around the world from leaders like President Trump and U.S. politicians from both sides of the aisle.

But once the dust had settled, medical professionals and pundits started asking questions: how could the cancer have progressed this far when he’s been graced with the best medical care in the world for decades? How did we not know sooner?

Then Scott Adams, creator of the hugely popular “Dilbert” cartoon, announced his own sad news: he has been diagnosed with the same prostate cancer as former President Joe Biden and said he is only expected to live until maybe "this summer."

Adams revealed that he received a very special call in support:

President Donald Trump personally called cartoonist Scott Adams twice after the "Dilbert" creator revealed he had advanced prostate cancer, offering support and telling him, "If you need anything, I'll make it happen," Mediaite reported.

Adams, creator of the comic strip "Dilbert," revealed this week that Trump reached out to him directly following his announcement that he has terminal cancer.

Libs of TikTok got it right: “The media will never show you this side of Trump.” They’re too busy telling us he’s Hitler.

‘Dilbert’ Creator Scott Adams Shares Heartbreaking News

The famed cartoonist and pundit reveals the funny way he realized the president was trying to get in touch with him:

"Somebody's calling me from some number I don't recognize, something in Florida, and I sent it to voicemail," Adams said. "And a little bit later, I thought, I better check that voicemail and see if that was anything I need to deal with. And the first sentence in the transcription — 'cause you know the phone gives you the text version of the voicemail as well — the first sentence is, 'This is your favorite president.'"

"And I thought to myself, No, did I just send the most important person in the world to voicemail?" Adams added.

When the author of “Win Bigly”—a book about the power of persuasion and how Trump used it to win the 2016 election—saw the phone ringing again, he almost didn’t answer it. But he finally did:

"At the end, the strangest thing happened … when he found out, you know, the situation was kind of dire, and I was still checking out some things that might help, he said, 'If you need anything, I'll make it happen,'" Adams said.

"And he meant it. He was completely aware of our, let's say, parallel journeys from 2015; he mentioned it, and it was just the most incredible, weird, hard-to-understand situation, but boy, was it fun."

It was a nice gesture by Trump, and it seems that Adams is glad he finally answered his phone. Meanwhile, our hearts go out to him, and we hope the prognosis that he will need to be “checking out from this domain sometime this summer” turns out to be very, very wrong.
