Breaking on Friday evening is a report that Iran has fired a ballistic missile at a U.S. base in Saudi Arabia - the first attack of its kind in months, according to multiple outlets. Details on the reported attack remain scant at this hour.
Axios' Global Affairs Correspondent Barak Ravid shared in a post on his X account: (Note: The tweet's wording has since been updated; pasted below)

Fox News' Jesse Watters reported the breaking story on his X account:
JUST IN: IRAN JUST FIRED BALLISTIC MISSILES AT A U.S. BASE IN SAUDI ARABIA
The reports follow CENTCOM (U.S. Central Command)'s seventh consecutive night of bombing, as they stated, at President Donald Trump's direction:
CENTCOM launched a round of strikes against Iran at 3 p.m. ET today for the seventh consecutive night. The strikes are designed to continue degrading Iranian military capabilities at the Commander in Chief's direction.

As my colleague Nick Arama wrote earlier, during Thursday's strikes, a facet of the Iranians' coastal surveillance, the Chah Bahar Shahid Kalantari Port surveillance tower, was taken out:
CENTCOM explained they'd hit Iranian military targets such as coastal surveillance and air defense sites, military logistics infrastructure, and maritime capabilities.
They also took out bridges, which appear to be cutting off Bandar Abbas and the coastal area near the Strait of Hormuz. That makes it harder for the Iranian regime to supply and to defend.

Also on Friday, CENTCOM waved away a new claim about the Strait of Hormuz by Iran's IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps):
🚫 CLAIM: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims that two oil tankers have exploded in the Strait of Hormuz after hitting mines in the international waterway.

✅ FACT: Like most IRGC claims, this is false. pic.twitter.com/hgdwnc7Kos
