Media Does Something Right, Releases Scathing Report on Chris Cuomo, CNN

Regular readers probably know that Janice Dean is no fan of either disgraced ex-NY Governor Andrew Cuomo or his brother, CNN guy Chris “Fredo” Cuomo. But, let’s be honest — that’s no secret to any American who’s followed the twin scandals that the former faced as an corrupt Democrat politician in a state with no dearth of them. If that sounds like hyperbole, keep in mind that the last three, elected Empire state governors have been forced to resign.

As my colleague Nick Arama wrote last week, Janice, the usually sunny Fox News Weather Machine, was able to find some solace in Cuomo being forced out, considering it a small victory for families of those who may have died due to Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s negligence at the helm of the state’s fight against the Chinese virus.

Back in June, we previously wrote about Janice righteously railing against the disgraced former governor’s bro/confidant Chris Cuomo for his ongoing insistence on skewing stories about the state of Florida’s Covid data reports — while simultaneously working on air as a CNN “journalist.”

Now, she is returning to “war” mode against the younger of the dastardly duo, as Chris Cuomo and his non-news network appear to have been exposed for the lack of accountability for Cuomo’s severe conflict of interest. And it’s from an unlikely source, to say the least.

While Janice did write a series of tweets which she shared some excerpts from a scathing new, NBC News report about how employees — especially female employees at CNN — are feeling right about now, it was mainly to direct fans to the source article.

Legacy media, in this case, managed to do something right. NBC News’ piece quotes employees of the cable giant who claim Cuomo has received “no reprimand” from the network over his blatant crossing of ethical lines — by acting as narrative-builder and quasi-press shop for the embattled Luv Gov.

Janice Dean wanted to make sure the often ignominious Brian Stelter saw how far his network’s standards have fallen — by tagging him on a thread of some particularly damning quotes from CNN insiders:

Now, what might cause these women working at an ostensibly professional media outlet distress about how the Chris Cuomo kerfuffle has been handled by their bosses? (Emphasis, mine)

When reached for comment, CNN spokesman Matt Dornic pointed NBC News to one of its previous statements.

“Chris has not been involved in CNN’s extensive coverage of the allegations against Governor Cuomo — on air or behind the scenes,” the company has said. “In part because, as he has said on his show, he could never be objective.

“But also because he often serves as a sounding board for his brother. However, it was inappropriate to engage in conversations that included members of the Governor’s staff, which Chris acknowledges. He will not participate in such conversations going forward.

Do you see that, lefty media apologists/Democrat-excusing feminists? Chris Cuomo helped out his sexual-harrassing and gropetastic governor brother in an “inappropriate” way, he “acknowledges,” But since he won’t do it again, he super-duper pinkie-promises, there’s totally nothing to see here!

If these people had the ability to be embarrassed — which they don’t — they would crawl into the deepest, darkest hole and never come out again. But we all know that’s not going to happen. They must enjoy being made fools of, by Democrats and their hangers-on like Fredo and Stelter and Brianna Keilar, whom my colleague Jim Thompson masterfully poked fun at in his cartoon Saturday. That’s the only explanation, since it seems to be an inextricable part of plying their trade — so to speak.
