It's not one world, as the late, great Paul Harvey used to say. One of, if not the great conflict of our time isn't a clash of civilizations. It is a clash of the civilized vs. the uncivilized. It is a clash of civilization vs. barbarity. Recent developments in Israel and Gaza demonstrate this beyond any doubt. Israel is, of course, at the forefront of this clash. 

In the latest development, on Thursday, Israel ordered a bus carrying Hamas terrorists back to prison. The move is reportedly in response to the vitriol hurled by Hamas terrorists at Israeli hostages who were released under the current cease-fire deal.

BREAKING: Israel ordered the buses carrying the released terrorists from today’s exchange to turn around and get back to prison.

The move is in response to the savage images from the release of the hostages that were nearly lynched by those monsters.

Take a good look at that image. One Israeli, a young woman, was held as a hostage, and on her release, Hamas literally made her walk a hate-filled gauntlet of armed Hamas terrorists. These are not the acts of civilized people. 

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a statement on Thursday:

I demand that the mediators ensure such horrific scenes do not recur and guarantee the safety of our hostages. Anyone who dares to harm our hostages will have their blood on their own hands.

Place yourself in the shoes of one of these hostages. Especially one of the young women held hostage for months upon months, who doubtless suffered abuse throughout the ordeal. The day finally comes for your exchange, in which Israel (rightly) does what needs to be done to bring their people whom - and then Hamas makes you walk a gauntlet, pressing in on all sides, of screaming, gesticulating, hate-filled and armed Hamas terrorists before you are finally allowed to go home.

This is barbarism. There is no other way to describe it.

It's a certainty that Hamas will use this cease-fire to re-arm, re-train, and re-equip. That's what they do. These are the people who did what was done on Oct 7th, 2023: Murdering families, children, young and old people, even pets, and kidnapping Israeli citizens into Gaza, where they were subjected to months of abuse.

There will be no peace in this part of the world until Hamas is no longer a factor.

We are engaged in a major conflict between civilization and the uncivilized. Israel is on the front line. The conflict is radical Islam vs. civilization. That is what it is. Europe may well already be lost. The next century may be very uncomfortable, as there are people here, now, in the United States, who harbor these same inclinations.
