We're at t-minus one day and counting until Election Day, and the chaos that's sure to come with it, courtesy of the unhinged left, and businesses across the country aren't leaving anything to chance. They are boarding up like a ferocious hurricane of political violence is about to descend upon their towns and wreak havoc, and they are smart to be thinking that way.
Cities have been through this before, and it's a good bet that the left, abetted by paid bad actors, will be brewing up trouble whether or not their preferred candidates win. The Democrat Party's own vice presidential nominee, Tim Walz, presided over the post-George Floyd riots that left parts of Minneapolis decimated.
We're seeing ample evidence that the Election Day violence expected this year is unlike anything we have seen before. And it's not just Washington, D.C., the nation's political epicenter, that's preparing; it's a coast-to-coast effort.
🚨Lovely. 🚨

Businesses in Portland are forecasting a Trump win!

Businesses here wouldn’t be boarding up if they thought Kamala had the for sure victory.
If Trump wins, stay as far away from downtown as possible.
My team has already been told if Trump wins, we must all work from home… pic.twitter.com/HQR9tuyIYX

Special “spiked” razor fencing is being erected around the White House in anticipate of Election Day. Some of it is 16 feet high. This is in addition to businesses being boarded up.

As many of these posts note, businesses aren't boarding up because they're predicting a Kamala Harris win and expect conservatives to loot and plunder; they're boarding up because they see a Donald Trump win in the offing, and the violent left have shown their true colors before. Look no further than the violence that rocked D.C. on Trump's Inauguration Day in 2017 for a taste of what can be expected if Trump returns to the White House.
One worker from Portland, Oregon, told a news organization of the boarding up: "It is completely ridiculous that we have to do this. It's very precautionary, and I see why because I was here four years ago, and it was crazy down here. It's not shocking. I'm kind of used to it. I think they should do it."
Another Portland-area worker added:
"Hopefully no riots. Nobody wants to see anyone get hurt or any damage. After what happened last time, I guess, you have to be prepared for anything so, like I said, better safe than sorry," Stacy Snyder told the outlet.
We've already seen signs that violence is brewing in some American cities; in the past few weeks, at least three mailboxes in the Pacific Northwest have been targeted with incendiary devices on which the words "Free Gaza" were written. And we all know what happens when the "Free Gaza" crowd is emboldened to take to the streets.
The Department of Homeland Security has been sounding the alarm about potential election violence for many months, although they like to pretend that conservatives are as much of a threat as the left.
In a Sept. 6 memo, DHS described extremists as “engaging in illegal preparatory or violent activity that they link to the narrative of an impending civil war” even as the narrative “remained sporadic.”
“We have observed online users encouraging others to prepare for future violence against public officials and federal agents, who they view as responsible for inciting a forthcoming civil war,” the bulletin states, noting the comments are largely made anonymously.
We all know where the violence, if it happens, will come from: the left side of the political spectrum. It's always the left. They riot when they win; they riot when they lose. Violence is their love language.
Because the Democrats are the party of violence, if you're in a blue area, please be sure you are prepared for all possibilities, both on Election Day and the days that follow. If Donald Trump emerges triumphant, things are going to get fiery and not at all peaceful.
