The rampaging hordes of punks who use any excuse to agitate and destruct descended upon an Atlanta park Sunday night and proceeded to desecrate a century-old unity statue erected to bring peace to a divided area.

The Peace Monument, which features an angel descending on a Confederate soldier and guiding to put down his rifle, was erected in 1911 not because Atlanta longed for the days of the Confederacy, but because the citizens of the area wanted to promote peace in the post-Reconstruction age.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on the attempt by antifa marauders to tear down the monument:

A protester was hurt by metal falling from the edifice as the group tried to tear it down, AJC photographer John Spink reported Sunday night. Tensions rose as the lone policeman on the scene was surrounded by black-clad Antifa protesters shouting “pig.” Black Lives Matter protesters put themselves between the police officer and the Antifa crowd, and the gathering soon dispersed.

One look at the AJC photos will confirm that it was, indeed, antifa nimrods responsible for the desecration. Notice the cowardly face coverings? Antifa.
