Why not “Queer Dance Party Against Hoof-and-Mouth Disease” or “Queer Dance Party for Toilet Paper Rolls Over, as Opposed to Under”?
Not as catchy, maybe?
So the dancers are back.

I’ve seen the “dancing.” It’s more like spastic writhing, but I digress.
The last we saw of them, they were disrupting the peace and acting the fool in front of Mike Pence’s home.
On Saturday night, protesters took to the Kalorama neighborhood in Washington, D.C., and set up camp in front of the homes of Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, as well as Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, to launch the “Queer Dance Party for Climate Justice.”
From the Washington Examiner:
According to the event’s event page, protesters are demonstrating against President Trump’s executive orders rolling back his predecessor’s climate rules.
The description says: “It’s time to WERK for Mother Earth.”
The event page also slams the entire Trump administration, singling out Scott Pruitt, “the climate denying head of the EPA” and Rick Perry, “head of the Dept of Energy, an oil hawk who’s a flaming homophobe.”
They apparently have their panties in a twist over the 2020 Census draft, which shows the government really doesn’t care about your sex life, by leaving out questions about orientation and gender “identity,” something the Obama administration had reportedly been looking to add.
“Also, in case you hadn’t heard, Trump revoked protections for LGBTQ government employees and removed LGBTQ questions from the census—all the more reason to turn out and show that YOU COUNT,” the event page says.
It really is all about getting attention, isn’t it?
Ashley Rae Goldenberg, of MRCTV was at the event and is responsible for several clips to Twitter, including the 82-year old man who confronted a cameraman, thinking he was a protester.

Awesome.
Reportedly, Kushner and Ivanka were out of town, so they missed the soiree.
Good. They have small children and they don’t need to be exposed to this vile idiocy.
Ultimately, I don’t see what these “dance party” idiots hope to accomplish. While they’re getting attention, it’s usually bad, and not a single tree was saved, nor will the Dakota Access Pipeline project be derailed by this (one of their underlying causes).
This is just pointless disruption for the sake of feeling like they did something.
They didn’t.
