James Comer (R-KY), Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, is hinting that the Committee would love to speak with former Vice President Kamala Harris in the probe into former President Joe Biden's cognitive decline and the unprecedented number of uses of the autopen during his administration.
Speaking to members of the press on Thursday, the chairman of the Oversight Committee said, "I think that it would be helpful to hear from Kamala Harris. We haven't decided whether or not we're going to issue the subpoena or not, but certainly she's welcome to come to the Committee."

"If I were her and wanted to have a political future, I would want to set the record straight on a lot of this stuff, because it's going to haunt her entire political career, because nobody thinks that Joe Biden was calling the shots in the end," he added.
Comer also talked about the Committee's grilling earlier in the day of former senior advisor and White House Counsel spokesperson Ian Sams, labeling it the "most informative transcribed interview slash deposition that we've had thus far," as my RedState colleague Nick Arama reported.
She wrote:
However, during questioning, Sams revealed some pretty stunning information. According to Chairman Comer, Sams saw Biden...twice. That's in more than two years of working for him. Comer said he thought this contradicts everything the former Biden people had been saying about Biden's mental fitness.
Even though Sams only met with Joe Biden twice, according to Comer, Sams was one of the loudest voices on outlets like MSNBC, saying Biden was "fit." Comer said Sams would try to counter what Special Counsel Robert Hur said about Joe Biden, for example.
"Robert Hur spent more time with Joe Biden than Ian Sams," Comer said. Indeed, Comer said he, Comer, interacted more with Joe Biden.
He said Sams didn't have a good memory of those two interactions, which made him think they were short. So how could he say anything about Joe Biden's fitness? Comer called Sams' two interactions "shocking."

Other Biden aides who have spoken before the Committee include former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain and former Biden aides Ashley Williams and Neera Tanden, as my RedState colleague Rusty Weiss reported, noting that Tanden used the autopen from October 2021 to May 2023.
Ex-Biden aide Neera Tanden admitted under oath to the House Oversight Committee that she had controlled Joe Biden's autopen for nearly two years, but denied any manipulation or abuse, asserting that she was following a system established by previous administrations.
Tanden, who served as Senior Advisor to the President during the first half of the Biden presidency, testified Tuesday as part of the Committee's investigation into Biden's cognitive decline and his ability to authorize use of an autopen under such circumstances.
"As staff secretary, I was responsible for handling the flow of documents to and from the president," she said, according to the Washington Examiner. "I was also authorized to direct that autopen signatures be affixed to certain categories of documents."
"We had a system for authorizing the use of the autopen that I inherited from prior administrations," Tanden added. "We employed that system throughout my tenure as staff secretary."
Oh, things in this probe could get so much more interesting if Harris opted to speak to the Committee and tell the truth about what she witnessed of Biden's decline during his presidency.
