Weiner In A Pickle: Federal Child Porn Charges May Be Forthcoming

Yeah. Let’s go with that.

The perv-y former Democrat Rep. Anthony Weiner may soon be facing child pornography charges.

What took them so long?

According to a Wall Street Journal report, those charges are likely forthcoming, due to the sexting incident between Weiner and a 15-year old girl last year.

The Journal said the FBI and the U.S. attorney’s office are investigating Weiner’s interactions with the teenager.

Weiner’s electronic devices — including a cell phone and a laptop — have been seized as part of the ongoing probe into the former congressman’s behavior.

People familiar with the discussions confirmed to the WSJ that Weiner’s attorneys had met with federal prosecutors in Manhattan.

The Journal reported that a possible child pornography charge carries a 15-year mandatory minimum prison sentence. Weiner allegedly solicited explicit images from the girl.

And let’s make this clear:

Little girls these days are faaaaassst.

Parents, keep in mind that as long as you’re paying the bills, your kids have zero expectation of privacy.

I once told my child, when he complained of my going in his room, that the whole house was my room.

You can just take that little nugget of sage, non-PC advice as something to roll back on, later.

Prosecutors are also believed to be weighing a receipt of child pornography charge, which carries a five-year mandatory minimum sentence, and a possession of child pornography charge, which has no minimum sentence.

Because Miss Priss was supposedly sending her own naughty pics – which does not let the Weiner off the hook, at all. He’s a grown up, and he’s supposed to know better.

The WSJ goes on to point out that it’s not clear exactly what investigators uncovered and that federal kiddie porn laws are broadly worded.

We do know Weiner was sending photos of his bare chest, commenting on the girl’s body and speaking about topics that no 15-year old girl should be comfortable hearing from a strange man over the internet (or anywhere else, for that matter).

So Weiner ruined his career, his family, and now may forfeit his freedom because of his perversion – and I don’t feel a bit sorry for him.
