I’m going to call this one, “Grumpy Old Men, Part III.”
Vermont senator and crusty curmudgeon, Bernie Sanders, has declared that he’s not taking any of Donald Trump’s crap.
On Wednesday, he was willing to strike a more reasoned tone.
Sanders on Wednesday released a statement signaling a willingness to work with Trump on certain policies.
“To the degree that Mr. Trump is serious about pursuing policies that improve the lives of working families in this country, I and other progressives are prepared to work with him,” the Vermont senator said in a statement released Wednesday.
“To the degree that he pursues racist, sexist, xenophobic and anti-environment policies, we will vigorously oppose him.”
On Thursday, however, Sanders flexed his keyboard muscles and took it to Trump in his own backyard – Twitter.
If Donald Trump takes people's anger and turns it against Muslims, Hispanics, African Americans and women, we will be his worst nightmare.

We’ve got us a baaaaadd man here, folks!
I have to admit, I believe C-Span could clean up by billing any conflicts between Trump and Sanders as a septuagenarian Battle Royale then selling the pay-per-view rights.
I can even imagine what the next several years are going to look like.
