Senator Cruz Open to Reentering the Race

It ain’t over until it’s over.

While appearing on Glenn Beck’s radio program this morning, Senator Ted Cruz suggested that the notion of his reentering the race was not out of the question.

“We launched this campaign intending to win. The reason we suspended our campaign was that with the Indiana loss, I felt there was no path to victory. If that changes, we will certainly respond accordingly.”

With votes in Nebraska, West Virginia, California, Montana, Oregon, and several others upcoming, there may still be a chance to deny Trump the requisite 1,237 delegates.

Senator Cruz blew off suggestions of running third party, but declined to give his support to Trump, at this time.

Cruz and allies told supporters on a Monday night conference call that they would not try to block Trump’s nomination, but were instead focused on influencing the party’s platform and rules, according to Politico.

Though it seems less each day, there’s still a slim chance that Trump can be denied the nomination.
