We reported earlier on how NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani attended a "Men's Day" event in Brooklyn, but then he shamed himself with his bench press performance.
He only did 135 pounds, after being goaded into doing it, and with the assistance of a strong-looking gentleman who was at the event.

As you might imagine, that prompted some mockery.

Now there are more reactions in, including from other NYC mayoral candidates, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, and current Mayor Eric Adams. Both of them had good responses to the lame effort from Mamdani.
Here's Cuomo:
It's easy to talk, it's hard to carry the burden.

This guy can't bench his own body weight, let alone carry the weight of leading the most important city in the world. https://t.co/kKB61LGojY

Then Adams put the pedal to the metal and took Mamdani to task. He did the same bench press. While his effort wasn't perfect, it was better than Mamdani's performance, especially given the age difference.
64 vs. 33. A lifetime of hard work vs. a silver spoon. The results speak for themselves.

The weight of the job is too heavy for “Mamscrawny.” The only thing he can lift is your taxes. pic.twitter.com/HR6fDPKn0B

That comment about the "silver spoon" and lifting your taxes is a perfect description of Mamdani. Nicely done, Eric Adams.
Either of them would be better than Mamdani, and at this point, they're both making Mamdani look pitiful.
But the best bench press on the day has to go to young Edward "Big Balls" Coristine. Coristine, the former Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) employee who was assaulted on August 3 when he came to the aid of his significant other as they faced a mob of teens in D.C. He was left covered in blood.

This is what he was doing in his recovery. He puts Mamdani to absolute shame.
Following his heroic actions of saving a young woman in Washington DC, DOGE's "Big Balls" Edward Coristine has been spotted bench pressing in the gym during his recovery repping 225🔥🔥

This is absolutely epic.
Zohran couldn’t even bench press, 135🤣🤣

Now, you can see that's more weight than Mamdani, and he doesn't need any help.
More importantly, he put everything on the line both to help a woman during the attack and to help his country with DOGE. That outshines Mamdani any day of the week. So, hat tip to "Big Balls" for showing what being a man is truly all about.
