One police officer has been killed and another injured in the shooting.

At least two attackers are involved, with one on the run and the other killed, police have revealed.

UPDATE: Reuters, the AP, and AFP all report now that the French authorities have stated for the record the now dead gunman had previously been flagged as an “extremist.” He was targeting the police and opened fire on a police van, with at least three officers hit.

Furthermore, President Hollande officially stated that he believes there is sufficient evidence to call this an Islamic terror attack. Another Paris terror attack from a jihadi who was known to authorities.
