Thank you, One-Eyed Harry Reid, for getting rid of the filibuster for nominees.

The Senate just voted for cloture on the nomination of Rex Tillerson to be Secretary of State.

This is how it went down:

There can be a maximum of thirty hours of debate and Tillerson’s confirmation vote is scheduled for February 1… unless Mitch McConnell does what he does best.
