Well, Joe Biden is nothing if not helpful:

Biden told CNN’s Michael Smerconish he’s not worried about Comey being unfair.

“I’ve found him to be a straight guy. He’s a tough guy. He’s a Republican, but he’s always been straight and I’m confident that this will turn out fine,” the vice president said.

He urged the FBI head to release the emails publicly.

“I think the quicker they release the emails for the public to see them the better off.”

This is hilarious. First off, Biden has to begin and end each day kicking himself in the ass for not seeking the nomination this year. Earlier this week a rumor was floated, almost certainly by the Biden camp, that Hillary was looking at him for secretary of state. The Clinton camp promptly shot down this trial balloon. I can’t blame her, really. Though the video of him engaging in a tickle fight with Angela Merkel would be hilarious.

Biden is doing his best to make life just a little bit tougher on the Clinton campaign and, at this point, he probably doesn’t care whether they sink or swim… making him much like the rest of the Democrat establishment.
