The California senate race is shaping up nicely. Two rabid and dimwitted progressive harpies, Congresswoman [mc_name name=’Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-CA)’ chamber=’house’ mcid=’S000030′ ] and Attorney General Kamala Harris, are locked in a cage match to succeed another rabid and dimwitted progressive harpy, [mc_name name=’Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’B000711′ ]. Sad to say, one of those two will be a US Senator and thereby, as horrifying as it sounds, actually lower the collective IQ of that august body.

The most interesting thing in the race before this week end was the arrest of a long-time Kamala Harris aide, Brandon Kiel, and two of his cronies on charges of impersonating a police officer:

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Capt. Roosevelt Johnson thought it was odd when three people — two of them dressed in police uniforms he didn’t recognize — strolled into the Santa Clarita station in February.

One man introduced himself as chief of the Masonic Fraternal Police Department and told Johnson this was a courtesy call to let him know the agency was setting up shop in the area.

They met for 45 minutes, Johnson said, but he was left confused and suspicious — so much so that he immediately ordered deputies to pull station surveillance video so they would have images of the visitors. He also assigned detectives to check them out.

It turns out Henry, Hayes and Kiel had allegedly introduced themselves to police agencies across the state, though it is unclear why. A website claiming to represent their force cites connections to the Knights Templars that they say go back 3,000 years. The site also said that the department had jurisdiction in 33 states and Mexico.

Now farce follows farce.

U.S. Senate candidate [mc_name name=’Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-CA)’ chamber=’house’ mcid=’S000030′ ] has apologized after a videotape surfaced showing her making a whooping cry in reference to Native Americans during an apparent joke.
Speaking to delegates at a state Democratic convention Sunday, the 10-term congresswoman said she said something offensive “and for that I sincerely apologize.”

The video, which was shared on social media, shows Sanchez tapping her hand over her open mouth and making a whooping sound while speaking to a group of delegates Saturday.
Her chief rival in the Senate race, Attorney General Kamala Harris, called the gesture shocking.

What is shocking is not the gesture but the discovery that Democrats don’t just use this idiocy on Republicans in a display of raw cynicism (which I can respect as a tactic)  but they ACTUALLY BELIEVE IT (which convinces me they are all batsh** crazy).

While it is hilarious to sit back and watch two progressives who list among their accomplishments membership in a minority group — Harris claims two race identity group firsts, making her a Democrat superstar — flame each other over a totally bullsh** incident and turn the entire campaign into a festival of microaggressions one can’t help but be saddened by the fact that this type of nothingburger is even noticed.
