So This Is What Newsom's Office Was Referring to With That Post About Kristi Noem
Will Newsom attempt to arrest federal immigration officers who continue to wear masks while carrying out their official duties? That would be a very bad decision on his part, which means there's a good chance he will attempt it.
The Ashland County Ohio Democrat party revealed who they are with this display—bloodthirsty ministers of hate. They should never be allowed inside the fence line of a county fair again, much less anywhere else.

Recent SCOTUS Decision Could Come With Unintended Consequences for Gun Owners
Obviously, I dispute the idea that 10% of people attending gun shows are engaged in illegal conduct. There's a law enforcement presence at almost every gun show that takes place, and arrests for crimes of any nature are highly unusual. But would that stop someone like, say, President Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from running with this idea and having the ATF detain gun show attendees while they investigate their purchases or possessions?
The Three Most Powerful Words Uttered In Centuries: I Forgive Him
As Pete Hegseth said on Sunday, "The Devil overplayed his hand." Lord, let that be so.
Tom Homan’s Immigration Logic Won Over Bill Maher’s Liberal Audience
I don’t know about you, but I think if Bill Maher’s audience can understand and agree with Homan’s arguments, then everyone can.
Wait, Did an ABC News Reporter Really Say That About Charlie Kirk's Assassination?
ABC News’ Jonathan Karl ran into a buzzsaw when he tried to walk a waffled line on the Charlie Kirk assassination when he didn’t need to.
The Washington Post Is Baffled -- BAFFLED! -- That Charlie Kirk's Memorial Required So Much Security
Way to become the meme, Washington Post.
WHAT'S ON TAP?
Today on Capitol Hill...
Congress is out this week for a "district work period," but we can expect there to be quite a bit of chatter about a potential government shutdown. We may even see a confab between President Donald Trump and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), as the two have called for a meeting and the president has signalled his willingness:

MORNING MUSING
The past two weeks have been some of the most disquieting in recent memory. Like many, I'm sure, my emotions have run the gamut, and I have been wrestling, both publicly and privately, with all of it. And I'm just a bystander. I can't imagine what those who knew and loved Charlie Kirk have gone through and will continue to go through as they grieve him and attempt to move forward in a world changed drastically by an assassin's bullet.
We saw glimpses of it at the memorial service for him on Sunday. We know his wife, Erika, will take over as the CEO and Board Chair of Turning Point USA. We saw her steely resolve in the remarks she gave the Friday after he was killed and again on Sunday. But even more than that, we saw her unwavering faith in the face of grievous heartache.

For all those who will cling to their mockery and hatred of essentially half their countrymen, there were millions who saw faith in action: grace, forgiveness, and the power of God's love. And there are millions who will find faith, reconnect with it, or lean into it all the more, and that's so very needed. In the immediate aftermath of Charlie's assassination, as we were seeing some of the horrific ugliness emanating from multiple quarters, I responded to a question Scott Presler posed on X: "How do you coexist with people that want to murder you?" I knew the answer then, and I'm even surer of it now: You stand firm and you trust in God.
