Bondi might not have an avenue to hold Jasmine accountable, but Johnson and Republicans in the House certainly do.
DOJ Starts Criminal Investigation Into Rogue Bureaucrats Seizing the US Institute of Peace
Unlike the months and years handed down in sentences to people who merely entered the Capitol, I'd be shocked if any of this results in more than a stern talking to by some Obama or Biden appointee on the DC bench.
Mike Waltz Throws Down the Gauntlet on Iran's Nuclear Program, Threatens 'Consequences'
The Iran problem obviously won’t be solved quickly or easily, but peace through strength is the only option when dealing with the Islamic Republic.

Question: As to the now late Dyson and the still-alive Elon Musk, a recipient of death threats, what's wrong with this picture?
How to Destroy the Democratic Party in Four Easy Steps
The left is acting emotionally instead of tactically, and their hysteria has trapped them in a series of no-win situations. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
A decision point is coming. Decisive action by the Chief Justice could save the judicial branch by restoring the judicial modesty that preserves the respect of the other branches.

For Democrats, a person is either a loyal follower or an enemy and once a person is an enemy, anything goes!
WHAT'S ON TAP?
Today on Capitol Hill...
They're ba-ack. That's right — the critters are back on the Hill, and there will be plenty to keep them — and us! — busy. They're easing back into the hearings/meetings with only two set for Monday:
- House Veterans' Affairs, Technology Modernization Subcommittee — Closing the Data Gap: Improving Interoperability Between VA and Community Providers
- House Rules — H.R. 1048 - Defending Education Transparency and Ending Rogue Regimes Engaging in Nefarious Transactions Act; H.J. Res. 24 - Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Department of Energy relating to "Energy Conservation Program: Energy Conservation Standards for Walk-In Coolers and Walk-In Freezers."; H.J. Res. 75 - Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Department of Energy relating to "Energy Conservation Program: Energy Conservation Standards for Commercial Refrigerators, Freezers, and Refrigerator-Freezers."
White House What's Up
President Donald Trump made a big splash at the NCAA wrestling championship in Philadelphia over the weekend. On Monday afternoon, he's set to deliver remarks from the Roosevelt Room with Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry. After that, he'll participate in a Greek Independence Day celebration.
Full Court Press...
The Supreme Court is back in action Monday with three cases set for oral argument. (Two are consolidated.)
- Louisiana v. Callais/Robinson v. Callais, having to do with whether Louisiana violated Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.
- Riley v. Bondi, involving the deadline for a non-citizen's filing a petition for review of an order for removal from the U.S.

MORNING MUSING
I'm simultaneously fascinated and repelled by those infernal influencer vids on TikTok/Insta/X that purport to portray a workout/beauty/food prep routine, complete with an endless supply of just the right equipment/applicators/containers. I do get the appeal — watching someone who has things perfectly organized and (seemingly) seamlessly navigates their process of getting fit or staying healthy gives us something to aspire to. Listen, folks, I have a confession: I'm a mess. On good days, my home is only slightly cluttered. I'd love to Marie Kondo (or whoever the craze is these days) my life and lead an uncluttered, totally organized, efficient existence. And maybe I will at some point. Right after I watch this video about how to organize my spices...
