After a Sunday spent in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, President Joe Biden returns to the White House on Monday, where he and Vice President Kamala Harris will speak at an Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month reception.

Former President Donald Trump will be back in court in Manhattan, with his former attorney, Michael Cohen, expected to take the stand. This should be a spectacle interesting.

But Trump's isn't the only high-profile trial of a politico on tap for Monday. Just three blocks away, Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) will be in court in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York to begin his trial for bribery, extortion, and obstruction of justice.
MORNING MUSING
Had a great weekend celebrating the kiddo's graduation from college, but I do have one regret: Because we were busy with that, we didn't really get a chance to see the Northern Lights. On Friday evening, we were able to catch a glimpse of faintly-hued purple sky, but the vantage point wasn't great. The pics shared by others, though, have been amazing.
