#1 - Megyn Kelly Reveals More About the Alleged Plan and Timeline to Replace Biden With Michelle Obama — by Nick Arama

Now, I don't doubt Barack Obama likes power, but I'm not sure Michelle wants the job. Plus, while they may think that she could just step in and be nominated at the convention, it might not be as simple as they think. Others with experience beyond just being in the White House might rise and want to be heard in such a scenario. So this seems a rather complicated thing to try to pull off at the last hour, although she is very popular within the party. And Biden hasn't seemed to want to step aside so far — the plan requires him to comply. Jill Biden likes the spotlight. So that's another thing — they would have to somehow convince him to get out. It seems someone wants us to think this is a possibility. Are they floating a test bubble to see how it works or does Barack Obama think they could pull this off?

But the fact that this is even being floated at all is just one more confirmation of how weak Joe Biden is. That could explain why the reports about what Barack Obama and his aides are thinking re: Joe Biden have been percolating a lot over the past month, perhaps laying the groundwork, and why Michelle is suddenly making comments at all.

#2 - Electric Vehicles Enter the 'Total Failure' Phase of Their Existence — by Bonchie

There is no better example of government idiocy than the top-down push for electric vehicles, which at this point has cost American taxpayers tens of billions of dollars. They were a solution to a problem that didn't exist, and even then, they turned out to not be a solution at all. It's not just about cost either. How useful is a car that loses most of its range when it gets below freezing? How useful is a car that can't be driven for more than a few hours in a row, even in perfect conditions?

Ford and GM aren't cutting EV production because they want to. They are doing so because the market is forcing them to. People want reliable vehicles that meet their needs. They don't want to pay a five-figure repair bill for a new battery or because an electric motor failed. Gas-powered cars are not only far more capable, they are cheaper when it comes to acquisition, maintenance, and operating costs. The nexus of spending money on fuel vs. electricity is so far apart that you'll be buying the aforementioned new battery long before you approach any actual savings.

#3 - Charles Payne Renders Jessica Tarlov Speechless About Biden's Hatred of MAGA Voters and It Is Glorious — by Becky Noble

Payne then went on to talk about Trump supporters wanting the same things as other Americans and mentioned the fact that Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN), who is also running in the Democrat primary against Biden, went to a Trump rally to find out exactly who Trump supporters are, something other Democrats and the media haven't ever bothered to do. He said he talked to roughly 50 people standing in line and said that they could not have been nicer. He also mentioned how diverse the crowd was and concluded by saying, "My party is completely delusional right now."

Tarlov then takes issue with Payne's math and points out that, "it's only the 74 million that voted for Trump, and he (Biden) is explicit that every time he talks about the MAGA movement, to say that this is a subsection of the Republican Party..." Oh, well in that case... Bret Baier then attempts to explain that Biden "gives teleprompter speeches. I mean, you have to understand..." But as a faithful foot soldier, Tarlov digs her hole deeper and says, "Yes but he is talking about insurrectionists."

#4 - Conservative Billionaire Buys Leftwing Newspaper and the First Meeting Goes As You Might Expect — by Streiff

Along with the Sun, he bought a network of community newspapers. Smith's corporation operates over 200 television stations. He's a major donor to conservative groups such as Moms for Liberty and Project Veritas (back before it imploded); he has deep roots in Baltimore and is influential in Baltimore politics. He's also not a fan of print journalism.

The print media is so left wing as to be meaningless dribble which accounts for why the industry is and will fade away. Just no credibility.

[Full disclosure: I have my own beef with the Baltimore Sun. Many moons ago, I founded a Maryland politics blog named RedMaryland (original blogspot and archived). The focus was strictly on local politics, and we steered clear of as many national issues as we could. For one reason, that space was already taken, and for the second, it is easier to build coalitions around local stuff and introduce people to conservative principles if you aren't carrying the baggage of what the GOP in Congress...or the White House...is doing. Two of my colleagues convinced the Baltimore Sun that a conservative voice was needed, and we got a blog space there, plus a weekly column. Media Matters targeted us for merely existing, and eventually, the Sun folded like a cheap suit. So I'm hardly a disinterested observer.]

According to accounts of the meeting published in the Baltimore Banner, whose leftist founder lost a bid to buy the Sun, these are some of the highlights.

#5 - Biden Gets Confused, Dems Ignore Him, Then He Wears a Hard Hat and It Goes All Kinds of Wrong — by Nick Arama

First, he had to be instructed where to stand as he looked around confused. But you can see the other Democrats who are there — Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Sen. Tina Smith (D-MN), and Gov. Tim Walz taking a selfie and ignoring him, keeping him waiting. Eventually, they realize it. But it says a lot about him and them.

They went out to a bar at some point, and Klobuchar posted a picture. I'm sure this was supposed to show how relatable Joe is and how much of a union guy he is, so please vote for him.

But did you see it? I don't think Klobuchar did, or she probably never would have posted it.
