If I didn’t know better, I’d think the Progressive Left wants Americans to be dumb and numb. 

Who pushed to keep kids out of school during COVID? The Left. 

Who opposes school choice? The Left.

Who supports displacing high school students in order to house illegal immigrants? The Left.

Who supports lowering academic standards? The Left. 

Who supports doing away with advanced placement and honors classes? The Left. 

Who supports removing historical monuments and erasing historical names? The Left. 

Who’s pushing to legalize even hard drugs? The Left. 

Who opposes efforts to secure the border and tamp down on the flow of fentanyl into the country? The Left. 

I could go on, but the pattern’s rather evident, isn’t it? 

So ask yourself, why would that be? Why would anyone want our young people to be less challenged and less prepared academically? Why would anyone want the populace to be addled? 

You wouldn’t if you wanted them to succeed. You wouldn’t if you wanted them to be independent. You wouldn’t if you wanted them to be free. 

On the other hand, if you wanted a docile, dependent populace, that’s exactly what you’d advocate. 

But surely no one actually wants that for Americans, right?
