#1 – Liberal SCOTUS Justice Caught in Scandal That Blows up Recent Left-Wing Attacks — by Bonchie 

That sound you hear is every Democrat who demanded Thomas and Gorsuch resign suddenly running away from any discussion of Supreme Court “ethics.” While the accusations against the conservative justices were silly and shallow, there is actual meat on the bone regarding what Sotomayor did. The publishing company in question actually stood to lose money depending on how the court ruled, yet she took millions of dollars from it anyway and then didn’t recuse herself from the case.

I’m a relatively simple man, but that sure seems much worse than Thomas getting a free vacation from a friend or Gorsuch selling a piece of property. Sotomayor’s actions look even more scandalous when you consider other liberal justices who took money from Penguin House did recuse.

#2 – SCOTUS Grants Review of Case That Will Gut the Federal Bureaucracy — by Bonchie 

Now, the Supreme Court is poised to overturn the doctrine at some major level. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is already recused from the case, meaning that the conservatives don’t have to deal with one of the most liberal justices in oral arguments and deliberations. On that front, most of the conservatives on the court have already signaled a willingness to curb the power of the bureaucratic state by rolling back the Chevron Doctrine.

So while 2024 presidential candidates all make mostly unenforceable promises to roll back administrative overreach, this coming SCOTUS decision is, by far, the most probable way that actually gets done. The story won’t get weeks of headlines because it’s not sexy, but it’s incredibly important. A rollback of administrative agency power would positively impact American lives more than almost any policy Congress or a president could institute. It would send shockwaves throughout the federal government.

#3 – Megyn Kelly Drops Important Info About Tucker Departure, Blog Reports Text From Tucker — by Nick Arama

But here’s the part that’s potentially problematic for Tucker — at least for the moment. Because he’s still employed there, Kelly is saying Carlson is not free to negotiate with other potential employers or other opportunities while he’s still technically under contract with Fox. She said that they did let Tucker’s executive producer go, as well.

Kelly called it all “disrespectful” and “gross,” considering all Tucker has done for the network by seeing it through the difficult time post-Roger Ailes, and Kelly herself leaving the network. She said she wondered how that was going to affect Fox; we’re seeing how it’s hitting them hard in the ratings since his parting. “Tucker Carlson deserved better,” Kelly declared.

#4 – The Transgender Activist Community Is About to Be Taught a Long Overdue Lesson — by Brandon Morse 

The more they do this, the more the general populace is losing the one thing that the transgender activist community survives on; their good graces. People are generally kind and tolerant of many things. Most just want to be left alone and wish to do others the same courtesy. This has its limits, and the trans activist community is finding them.

The thing about the silent majority is that they’re very slow to anger and will tolerate being poked, prodded, and harassed for a shockingly long time. However, after enough victims have been created and events have transpired, that same majority that tolerated all of this will begin to lose its goodwill.

#5 – White House Finally Gets Asked About Biden Disowning His Granddaughter — by Bonchie 

I’m pretty sure the point of having a press secretary is to have someone who can answer basic questions on behalf of the president. Jean-Pierre’s flippant way of dismissing any inquiry she doesn’t like is anti-democratic to the extreme, made more ironic by the fact that the administration is constantly obsessing over threats to “democracy.”

In this case, though, I think her lack of an answer says far more than had she spun some word salad in an attempt to dismiss the obvious. Jean-Pierre, as comfortable as she’s gotten to lying, realizes that not even she lacks the requisite amount of shame to explain away the President of the United States refusing to acknowledge the existence of his four-year-old granddaughter. That’s so egregious, so gross, that it’s a topic best brushed over than rationalized.
