The White House finally fielded a question about Joe and Jill Biden’s penchant for disowning their seventh grandchild. That happened again recently, with Biden proudly proclaiming that he has “six” grandchildren despite it being public knowledge that he has seven.

As RedState has reported, the child’s mother, Lunden Roberts, has been battling the child’s father, Hunter Biden, in an ongoing paternity suit. The president’s degenerate son is trying to get his child support payments lowered by claiming he’s dead broke. That he’s showing up to hearings with one of the most expensive lawyers in the United States isn’t lost on anyone paying attention, though, Hunter Biden claims he has no income and that a wealthy friend is funding his lifestyle. You know, because wealthy people typically pay the legal fees and living expenses (including a car) of other people without receiving anything in return.

But I digress, I could go on and on about the problems with Hunter Biden’s various financial dealings. We are here to talk about Joe Biden being a disgustingly indecent human being who refuses to admit the existence of one of his grandchildren, and on that front, Karine Jean-Pierre fielded a question on the matter.

Q: "I wanted to ask about the trial going on in Arkansas with Hunter Biden and the child support — are the president and the first lady monitoring that and how come they haven't acknowledged the seventh grandchild?"

I’m pretty sure the point of having a press secretary is to have someone who can answer basic questions on behalf of the president. Jean-Pierre’s flippant way of dismissing any inquiry she doesn’t like is anti-democratic to the extreme, made more ironic by the fact that the administration is constantly obsessing over threats to “democracy.”

In this case, though, I think her lack of an answer says far more than had she spun some word salad in an attempt to dismiss the obvious. Jean-Pierre, as comfortable as she’s gotten to lying, realizes that not even she lacks the requisite amount of shame to explain away the President of the United States refusing to acknowledge the existence of his four-year-old granddaughter. That’s so egregious, so gross, that it’s a topic best brushed over than rationalized.

But as one of my colleagues wrote back in 2020, let it be known that the idea that Joe Biden is “decent” is a complete and total myth. The current president is a ruthlessly uncaring, selfish man who isn’t even willing to step up to the plate to help his own grandchild. We are talking about a family that has made tens of millions of dollars on the backs of taxpayers, directly and indirectly, and they can’t even be bothered to send a care package. Further, they disrespect their own innocent grandchild rhetorically, not even attempting to gloss over the fact that they are disowning her.

And for years, the press has shrugged, continuing to act as if Joe and Jill Biden aren’t grotesquely ambitious people who are willing to throw their own flesh and blood under the bus to avoid political scrutiny. I’m not sure who the reporter is who finally addressed the elephant in the room, but I hope she keeps pushing the issue. No Republican would ever get away with this behavior and for good reason.
