Things are certainly revving up ahead of the inaugural Freedom 250 Grand Prix set to happen on the streets of Washington, D.C. on Sunday.
One of the people giving a preview of it is Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy, who's been sharing videos hyping up the race event all week. He even got his family members involved in the fun.
In this clip, they get suited up in protective gear - as Duffy says, "just in case".

And what can people expect to see on Sunday? Andrew Leyden, a freelance photographer for the D.C. media and YouTube, shared on his X account that Americans will be treated to a series of seven spectacular flyovers by our military and NASA:
"Tomorrow's flyover of the Freedom250 Washington DC IndyCar race will include aircraft from all branches of the military, Coast Guard, and NASA," he wrote, adding that "Exact aircraft types and time on target TBD, but general airspace closures between 10:15am-1:15pm (though I'm leaning towards after 11:30am)[.]"
Politico Playbook reported that President Trump will also take part in the festivities, writing that "at Sunday’s inaugural Freedom 250 Grand Prix, the president’s motorcade will ferry him around the 1.66-mile downtown D.C. track in an honorary lap."
Sec. Duffy called out the naysayers who called the racing event "impossible":
People said 250 @IndyCar laps around the heart of Washington, DC was impossible… They were WRONG!
